VALPARAISO, Chile (AFP) — Chilean Francisco Lopez, riding a KTM, won the seventh stage of the Dakar Rally between Mendoza, Argentina, and here on Friday.

Spaniard Marc Coma's second-place finish over the 244km special was enough for him to retain first spot in the overall standings.
