CANNES, France — Denmark's Nicolas Winding Refn won the best director prize at Cannes Sunday for his high-octane film noir "Drive" about a stuntman who moonlights as a getaway car driver.
Refn, 40, the son of Anders Refn who edited fellow Dane Lars von Trier's "Breaking the Waves", thanked his star, "supercool" Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.
