Pakistan motorcycle bomb 'kills up to six'

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan (AFP) — An apparent suicide bomber on a motorcycle rammed a bus carrying staff from a government department, killing up to six people in Pakistan on Thursday, police said.

"In the bus there were 25 to 30 staff members of a government department," Nasir Durrani, a regional police officer in Rawalpindi, told reporters.

"Suddenly a motorcylist hit it near the petrol tank. Five to six are martyred and some 15 to 16 injured," he added.

"From the condition of the destroyed motorcycle, it was apparently a suicide attack," Durrani added.
