CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a contract with receiver Terrell Owens, according to a report on the National Football League team's website.
The contract is expected to be for one year. Nothing is official and the team has not formally announced a signing.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports the deal is for two million dollars with another two million dollars possible through incentives.
Cincinnati is expected to begin training camp for the 2010 season on Thursday.
Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco welcomed the 36-year old Owens on his Twitter feed.
"Terrell Owens is officially a Cincinnati Bengals, Cincy let's welcome him with open arms, it's on now!"
Owens caught 55 passes for 829 yards and five touchdowns last year in his first and only season with the Buffalo Bills.
