LONDON — Thieves broke into supermodel Kate Moss's home in London and stole valuable artwork including a portrait by cult artist Banksy, news reports and police said Friday.
Moss, 36, her musician partner Jamie Hince, 42, and mother Linda were believed to have been asleep in the house in Maida Vale, north London, when the thieves struck in the early hours of Thursday, the Daily Mirror reported.
The stolen Banksy portrait is believed to be worth 80,000 pounds (92,000 euros, 115,000 dollars).
Police said a 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the burglary and inquiries continue.
Earlier this month a couple smashed their way into an art gallery in London and snatched prints by Banksy -- a notoriously secretive street artist best known for his stencilled outdoor graffiti -- worth more than 16,000 pounds.
