| 414 Night Fighter Squadron Shortly after the end of World War II, the Public Relations Section of the War Department mailed out a letter titled "History of the 414th Night Fighter Squadron". This letter was postmarked June 24, 1945. While this letter is a great place to begin, it is incomplete.
