Every week Apple puts a few free songs and some free videos on the iTunes Store. Usually these are free for just a week, sometime longer. This gadget helps you by listing all the free stuff in one place by category (music, videos, audiobooks, etc.) and giving you updates as new stuff is released. Put it on your homepage or website and you won't miss another freebie!

There's no need to have a credit card or share personal info with Apple, just follow this guide: http://forums.mactalk.com.au/18/39050-how-get-us-itunes-account-free.html And there's TONS of free stuff for Canada, just look at the "world" option on the drop-down. In fact Canada has been getting better TV shows than the US lately...
i'm with all these people....i see something i really like...i think good...it's free but then you try to find it or buy it and you can't find it anywhere......i don't know how anyone can use this!!!!!!
That newsletter only shows like, what, one song and you have to look thru all the other stuff in the message. There's 3 songs each week, so you miss the other two with it. Plus where's all the other videos and junk?? This gadget at least shows them all even if it is a little slow about removing old stuff that's not free anymore. Geez, ya gotta look on like 3 or 4 pages in iTunes to find this stuff. Install iTunes then use this. Simple.
Each week the send you one email and in the email it shows you what the free tune of the week is and a link to click to get it. Or just check out the iTune store once a week and you'll see it there on the main page.
There are free songs and videos on iTunes all the time, like one a week. You have to look carefully on their site and you can find them. You dont NEED this gadget to get them, but it does let you know what is free each week. Of course, if you buy other stuff while you are on the site then that is your problem.

This gadget keeps telling me there's no free stuff on iTunes. Ahem. Not willing to let it take space on my iGoogle page.

i think that if you want to download song s it should be free but nnnnnnnnnnoooooooo they want all your info
