where is the floating calendar that used to be a gadget? I can't get this one to float and stay hidden until I hover the mouse on the right side of my screen (that's the way the one I used to have worked until my pc crashed).

Please fix this gadget! It's been broken for months (maybe even a year) and I find it hard to believe that it's gone unnoticed at google. So WTF is going on?!
Nothing shows up in my events box! It is just a huge empty box. I used to get daily events listed here and I have searched in vain to get them back! What am I doing wrong?

Try the Mini Calendar gadget. If you don't use the Google Calendar application per se, and you just need a basic calendar, then this gadget may meet your needs. Follow this link: http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&type=gadgets&url=hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/101542867219933681529/MiniCalendar.xml
For two years now... Love the six-week calendar. HATE the "Show events" box. Would really like to know how to get rid of that damn box. Minimize it. Blow it up. Whatever it takes. I don't use the events box but want to keep the six-week calendar.
I don't know what got fixed nor why nobody was complaining about it, but my calendar stopped working completely from work after a recent update to it (It was blank unless I turned off both calendar and agenda and just got the date displayed)... it's working this morning, so thanks for whatever was fixed, considering nobody (including me) actually complained about it... I figured it had to do with my job's proxy...(maybe my job fixed the proxy settings)
Oh I finally got rid of the unwanted holiday calendar, don't even remember how any more I did so many things. My Meetup events still aren't updating though, even when I do it manually. Anyone have any ideas?
Click on the little arrow icon (the one pointing down) and click on "edit settings', then click on "hide agenda". It gets rid of the text. Suzanne, I tried to figure out your problem but couldn't do it. Can you learn to multiply C by 9/5 and then add 32 in your head? :) Sorry.
I added the Canadian Holiday calendar, then deleted it, but they still show up, mostly as identical to the US holidays, of course. And it has been working fine, but now my updates in Meetup won't upload, even if I do it manually, and that's why I installed it in the first place.
I added the Google calendar gadget to my iGoogle page, but I can't get rid of the weather forecast in the task view--and for some reason it is for my correct location but in Centigrade. Suggestions?
Even though my Google Calendar shows my Tasks on it, this gadget doesn't allow me to show Tasks on it. Why should I have to go to Google Calendar when in theory this should show it?
How Do I Rearrange the Order of the Gadgets?Andy Pope - Dec 7, 2009 - Report this comment
It's entirely too difficult to rearrange the order of the gadgets. This should be a very simple thing to do. I've been searching for almost an hour, and it's becoming annoying.

calendar seems NOT to be working -- no events -- can't change month etc. Google!! Give us some error/problem messages and let us know when it will be fixed! Have I lost all the data I entered? Do I have to start over? With my DEPENDABLE paper calendar?
Too annoying to use. Back to the calendar on the wall.
THANK YOU for fixing this gadgetJim Varhegyi - Dec 3, 2009 - Report this comment
It was driving me insane, but now all is right again in my little anal retentive world. I'm really trying to settle on one online interface. I'm currently using mobile me but I am really leaning toward migrating everything I do to igoogle. The calendar glitch was a huge detractor but now that hurdle has been lifted. Thanks again!
I goofed, I admit it. Got it to work finally, not sure how. I reckon you should go to Google Calendar itself and set one up first, then it'll show on iGoogle. Seems like it's a bit complicated to add events, but overall it's a nice addition. Here's a thought though, perhaps there should be a link to setup Google Calendar from the gadget for those that don't realize they're one in the same?
agenda doesn't show... just a blank space instead. And when I try to add an event, the word "Loading" comes up and stays. Fix this app, it could be great.
