As one of the most important designers of the century Phillipe Starck's creations are spectacular, stimulating and emoting. Go Google his designs or architecture like the condominium ICON on Miami's South Beach. This guy rocks(and knows how to play with people's heads)

I liked the boldness of this theme, but it wasn't until today that I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and found the other half of the statement. less obtuse now.

I am really enjoying all of the art and fashion themes lately. Please keep them coming. Maybe add in some independent pop and rock music themes? Independent bands seem to have some cool art these days too.

but I just don't really get it. I've never heard of Starck and this doesn't make me want to learn any more about him and or his product/company. I would really like to see only themes created by regular people. Not fashion designers or corporations.

This is why I do Google of the day - this makes you think. Not easy on a limited web space when we are bombarded by ads and other extraneous info we usually filter out.

I like it :) When I first saw "WE MUST" at the top I was thinking "We must what??" until I read the bottom :D Cool and a nice change (and relief...) from the shoes/handbags and other boring superficial stuff igoogle has had as theme of the day as of late...

love this. seemed like an appropriate response to such simplicity in design. after all, it is starck and if you're at all familiar with his designs, you would know that this fits nicely into the vein of post-modern simplicity (aka minimalism updated) that is his trademark. good job google, yet again.

it was confusing until i scrolled to the bottom of igoogle.. WE MUST at the top and SHARE at the bottom, changes alot too, i like it. My favourite must be 'we are mutants' i don't know why, just looks cool :)

Overall I like this theme, but I wish there were more variety in the sayings. With only about 4 or so, it seems like they could come up with a few more. Expand on their motto of vision, subversion, rebellion, humor and love.... Please?
