I was using the weather channel gadget to keep check on the weather overseas. There is nothing but a white blank space. What is this all about???

NBC recently acquired The Weather Channel, probably why there is an advertisement there and probably why we aren't able to get the gadget anymore. I block all advertisments. Oh Well.
I too noticed the gadget had disappeared. When I reinstalled it however, it has an advertisement at the top. Guess they are forcing us to view the ads now. I filled out the survey to complain that I was unable to delete this ad
What's going on that the gadget is not working. Used for some time and wish it was more dependable. Was having to refresh the screen to activate the content and now that doesn't even work.
Days without weather? What is up with this and why don't you respond to any of the comments .... with this type of faulty presentation maybe there is a place for AOL after all

Thought there was something wrong with my machine, glad to hear its not. So what gives. Weather and other gadgets went. A few came back, some still missing. What gives?

I liked being able to view the local weather and also the radar and skip to the 10 day forecast with one click. What has happened to the weather channel? Mine is also blank.

They had a great gadget. It had local temperature, feels like temp, regional radar, and you could click on it to get the expanded webpage. TWC NEVER had a gadget that good. Now that the Intellicast gadget is no longer supported, I cannot bring myself to putting something on my computer which does nothing more than stream advertising when you click it. TWC, do something because it's the right thing to do, NOT because it's yet another revenue stream.

The old weather channel gadget was the reason I started using gadgets to begin with. Now it's completely worthless. What, was the old app costing them too much ad revenue?
I get extra stuff popping up on my computer everytime I go to the weather channel.....that's why I am getting rid of it. My virus software always picks up something that needs to be cleaned up.
