Took time to enter my bookmarks, then Internet Explorer decided to block the gadget? Something about modifying the page to prevent cross page scripting. Now the gadget only shows a #. Fail.

I Switched from iGoogle to AllMyFaves for my Bookmarks. 1. MyFaves is the personalized cross-platform bookmarks tool. 2. You can have unlimited Tabs, ex Finance, Social, Media, etc. 3. You can have 56 Bookmarks per Tab. 4. Bookmarks contain the sites logo/icon/favicon for quick visual reference. 5. You can drag and drop Tabs. 6. You can drag and drop Bookmarks. 7. You can Bookmark https://finance.google.com, so you don't need the Google Finance Portfolios gadget. 8. Check out AllMyFaves http://www.allmyfaves.com/

Decided not to even try this because of the comments. I use "Box of Links"! Very customizable, including color, title and links. I love it. Only 6 links to box, but can add as many boxes as you desire. Doesn't take up much room and has always worked. I have 6 on my home page and more on other pages of my igoogle. Some links open in the 'home' page - some open in the gadget window. As many users have encountered - this is braindead behavior and the developer has to have encountered this. Only workaround is a) right click and open in another window or b) find a no-so-brain-dead app. Anyone have experience with b)?

By default this bookmark loads webpages within the bookmark gadget itself which is of no use at all as far as I can see. You do have the option to click on a small icon at the edge of your link to cause the webpage to be opened in a seperate browser window but there's no way that I can see to just click on the link and have your current browser page navigate to the selected page. Otherwise nice, simple interface for adding/deleting pages. 15 bookmark limit is a bit of a dissapointment though. Hope they can fix that soon.

I agree with the post below about wanting more than 10 or 11 bookmarks. I hope it gets fixed soon. Also, there should be an option to click on the link and have it open in a new window. Who really wants it to open in the gadget itself? Thanks, I like the gadget otherwise!

Hi. I use your gadget all over - thanks! Can you please add support for accessing HTML files that are local to my computer? Right now, you add HTTP:// to the beginning of the URL that is entered. Can you create some way to support the standard "file:///C:/example.htlm" protocol? Thanks!

Now I can't read the book marks down the row. Instead, the new version has them side by side, which makes them hard to read, with a very small slider bar. It's like somebody looked at it and thought, "what can I do to make it worse in all ways...?" Not just one function, but a couple. Then, ran with it. Who decides these improvements? An option to take it or leave it would be great. I did re-install a new background, which made it revert to the original bookmark list. I'm now back to the original blue, which is fine. The picture I used to have started not working-turned into bars of the same picture, up and down the page.

As many of your know, Google screwed up their bookmarks gadget, and this was the first replacement I tried. After entering about 11 bookmarks, I got a message saying I was at the limit of 15 bookmarks (???) Also, the favorite icons don't show up unless you link to a site's main home page (in most cases I don't) - this feature don't really matter though. If you have only a few bookmarks and need a temporary solution until (if?) google fixes theirs, this is passable.

Make the redesign an option, please. I find that this new version is much more difficult to scroll through all bookmarks and categories. I much preferred the previous look.

Please UNDO this re-design and return the gadget to its previous design where it was actually useful. This new design with the scroll bar is worthless.

This new scroll format is ridiculous. Take something simple and make is difficult. Whoever came up with this should receive a "Leroy Jethro Gibbs' SLAP!!

Google's "improvement" is frustrating... having to scroll to open a site is counterintuitive and a waste of time. I disllike it immensely and I want the option of reverting to the previous (to me Original) version. Very, very disappointing experiment. I hope Google listens.

I hate the scrollbar on the bookmarks gadget! I love iGoogle, but if the scrollbar is permanent, then I'll have to stop using iGoogle and move on to something else.

I'm starting to think Google has someone on staff whose job is to find things that work and/or that people like and then screw them up. Brilliant! Now instead of looking at my bookmarks and selecting the one I want, someone has added another step, a scrollbar so I have to work through a multi-column list to find what I used to be able to simply click on. How about an option to use the old, usable form versus the new and improved disaster.

I chose the Google bookmark gadget because it at least displayed most of my 90 bookmarks on the first page. Now the frame has been srhunken down to displaying only 8 and I have to scroll down to see the rest of my bookmarks? That's horrible. Too bad Xmarks no longer works. Sure would be nice to have an option to get the expanded view again. This change makes the gadget useless.

I use this gadget and iGoogle because of the varieties and ease of use. The change renders iGoogle useless as my home page. Back to Yahoo if it isn't fixed quickly.

I too cannot fathom out why it opens websites within only the small gadget frame - what good is it if you can't display the webpage properly? If there is a setting that needs changing to make pages display in a new window, then this needs to be either automatic or at least much more obvious!

My enhanced bookmarks will not add or edit now that Google has their new look. I found this gadet that still works. Box Of Links By Gadgeteer 1,302 users 103 ratings Box Of Links, Bookmarks. Enter six urls that are used daily. Need more, no problem just add another Box Of Links ! http://hosting.gmodules.com/

11 bookmarks I'm not sure how long this is been out but having a limit to 11 bookmarks is not usefull. It's a good idea but I think you should fix this issue quickly otherwise it's not usefull.
