This change is not helpful.There are more steps. I have a lot of travel between two previously unknown places (rather than homebase to somewhere else). This complicates things for me personally. Maybe it helps someone else.

Most of the time I find google directions more reliable than mapquest directions.

As a rule I use Google directions quickly for distance or when i am not sure if the gps will not give me directions then I first print my directions prior leaving then I have aback up direction plan B. Google driving directions still useful to me most times, helpful!

for some reason you changed the the way to receive the information . you enter the requirements into your display and than an other companie's web opens up and you enter again. Not ver user friendly. Do not know why you changed a good thing???

at the risk of being thought of as old fashioned my car still say's MILES per hour, I travel in MILES not kms, why have the directions changed to km, i live in ENGLAND not France or some other Euro land, change it back to MILES

I can't believe this country is in some of the trouble it is with so many Einsteins running around. Not a day goes by and some genius has figured out a way to "fix" something that is already as good as it's going to get. I guess there's something in Marketing 101 that says it has to change to be new and fresh. All I know is it's stupid and it sucks. I wonder if I have a choice of getting my directions somewhere else. Oh look! I have a thousand other choices! Bye Bye! You're so smart I don't have to tell you where to stick your new design!

Directions to reach 4800 Granite Dr, Rocklin, CA from I-80 say (after exiting I-90 and reaching Granite Dr.), to turn right on Granite Dr., and then "make a U-Turn". If you make a U-Turn after turning on Granite, you will never, ever, reach your destination. Should say to turn left into destination from Granite Dr.

You have Eddy Street in Providence as the titled route, when it is actually Thurbers Avenue when traveling to 100 Dudley Street, Providence from the South. Get out your compass and try it.

Steered wrong YET AGAIN by Google directions! Once is maybe a fluke, but sooo many times now I've been sent the wrong way that I can't trust google directions anymore. Why? What happened, it used to be such a great site to get directions from. Goodbye google, hello Yahoo Maps! (and I'm very sorry to see you go...)
