I'm getting the same error messages. This gadget has worked perfectly since I installed it a couple of years ago. Hopefully it gets fixed soon i use it every day

When trying to use this gadget I get a string of error messages that look like the following: "Warning: mysqli::mysqli() [function.mysqli-mysqli]: (08004/1040): Too many connections in /home/greg/public_html/dev.helpfulwidgets.com/public/dev/areacodezip_class.php on line 37 Warning: mysqli::real_escape_string() [function.mysqli-real-escape-string]: Couldn't fetch mysqli in /home/greg/public_html/dev.helpfulwidgets.com/public/dev/areacodezip_class.php on line 42" I tried maximizing the app, but had the same result. That seemed to fix the problem last time there were issues, but this must be something different

I frequently need to find a location from a zip code, area code or just a city name. This gadget sames me time and amazes my supervisor that I can find stuff so quickly. (I didn't share this with her....selfish, I know :) ). Thanks Greg for your talent and ingenuity.

Installed it today on Firefox and IE. Works OK on IE, not on Firefox. From reviewing other comments, appears to be a recurrent problem.

I use Firefox, and the widget appears blank. Works for me if I look at it in IE, though. Love the widget, and nothing available can really replace it.

I was told about this area/zip code lookup by a friend and it has been the best thing i was ever told about... i used it everyday/all day. it was really upsetting when i found out the google add (ads) zip lookup was possibly being discontinued.... please don't let that be true :(

What a handy gadget, indeed! Essential for everyone who uses the USPS or the telephone. If you use the 9 digit zip which Greg Tidwell's gadget will supply you with, your mail will get to its destination more quickly. If you use the 9 digit zip with priority mail, you letter will probably get to its destination in just one day and you do not have to pay FEDEX rates.
