I agree with earlier writers. Facebook and its multiplying intrusions, has become more trouble than it's worth. Facebook has turned into one more smirking corporate presence.

I'm letting you know i'm not going be using your gadget anymore.because i not able to sent in a report about my problems.i have been trying report this problem for a month now and nobody won't help me and the e-mail i got wasn't working and why i finally able to send a e-mail. nobody won't respond my e-mail.i don't know if the e-mail address is correct to send in a report about my problem.i had really enjoy this gadget.but i have a problem with this gadget and i can't get anybody to fix it

Since my last update to Chrome 23, the gadget often fails to fully load. Refreshes don't help. What I end up doing is maximizing the gadget to full page and them minimizing it back down to the size for my iGoogle home page.

Your Facebook-v6 with working notifications gadget is causing my igoogle homepage have nonsecure page.i had wanted to reported this to.i'm also having trouble getting to my facebook homepage and other things.i don't know if this supposed to work or not.i have to use another facebook gadget to excess to my facebook. one thing i like this gadget is i can check some things without going into my face book homepage.i tried sending you e-mail.but the e-mail address i had doesn't even exist.also i am using google chrome and internet explore.both browser has the nonsecure page.

I was suddenly greeted with the new Facebook gadget today. I consider myself a reasonably savvy consumer, but I cannot figure out how this new gadget works. I get names when I hover, but no ability to do anything. What am I missing? I am a Chrome user.

Funny. It seems the buttons are not showing on some platforms, even the they look fine here on gadget page. You can still click on them if you know where they should be, and changing the display here will still be in effect when you go back to iGoogle.

Since I read all of the comments before attempting to download this app, I have decided to wait until it is working. Right now I am using RockMelt, which is a browser using Chromium for people who use Facebook alot. It has any apps you choose on the right margin and Facebook friends on the left margin. The toolbar has buttons for you to access notifications and messages in FB and a button to "quiet" the apps so all you see is whatever webpage you are linked to. There is a search bar which you decide what search engine to use. I'll check back later and see if the kinks got worked out.

Found out that the extension "Do Not Track Plus" in Mac Chrome disabled this gadget. As there were no options, removing it made the gadget work again. hurray!

I updated myChrome browser on Mac Lion, and this gadget stopped working completely. But also, no others work with Chrome and Facebook at the present. All Facebook gadgets work just fine with Firefox, or on a PC with Windows 7. Hmmm....

I agree with the gentleman prior, this is not working correct. I have had this gadget since I switched to iGoogle a few years ago. It's always worked great but now it can't even give me the most up to date posts. It's frustrating.
