I'm a Habitat Home owner and I am very, very grateful for my home. I cannot believe the issues and the way I have been treated by my local Habitat since I have been involved with them, with no one to turn to for help? After becoming disabled and qualifying for a home I thought that Habitat would become a big part of my life and give me a purpose and something to do with my time. That has not been the case and they have even turned their backs on me. I cannot believe mistakes I have seen them make with other homes which makes me worry about my home even more. Some serious mistakes which were made and instead of correcting them correctly they were covered up and then sold without disclosing to us homeowner's. Things done illegally, and not installed by professionals and then when there is a problem the home owner is blamed in someway. I do not want to cause Habitat problems, I just want everyone to be treated the SAME, FAIRLY and get what we were PROMISED and PAID FOR! Please HELP?
