Is it a big problem to fix it? - Edgar Silva - Oct 13, 2009 - Report this comment
I donīt think, whoever made this gadget, is a big problem to fix it, if you are going to post a gadget why you donīt keep track of it, just to see if itīs working good.
Clipping obviously not going to be fixed - Nikash SINGH - Oct 6, 2009 - Report this comment
The clipping problem has been with this gadget for ages. Looks like no ones going to do anything and it's too annoying to tolerate. Google can't get it's own gadget's right?
I just deleted this formerly great add-on because it has become a dead piece of window space as it is.

Google Tip of the Day gadget problemKrista Todd - Jul 15, 2009 - Report this comment
I've been experiencing the same problem as the previous post, I can't read the whole tip. I love this gadget and have learned some very useful information when I can read the whole thing.
I like to keep the tip minimised and expand it as required. My problem is the gadget does not expand enough to read the tip. It doesn't matter what I do with the gadget it does not expand anything like the example at the top of this page. It is really irritating and I am ready to dump it.
Google Button on GMail sign in page - Anonymous - Jun 8, 2009 - Report this comment
I use 'InPrivate' browsing so the Google toolbar with the Google button is not visible. I was wondering why there is no "back to Google" button on the GMail sign in page. Thank you
I have all my money invested in Google and my house. I believe in Google for the future. I figured out why Software CEOs are so far left: the main cost is software engineers, and they look at life from the employee's point of view.

To see the "Prev", "Random" and "Next" navigation bar, go to the tab of the app and click on the down arrow (menu). From there you can choose to see the navigation bar or not. The default is set to OFF.
Google Tip of the Day clipping problemErgun Coruh - Mar 11, 2009 - Report this comment
I don't know if this is a general problem in the gadget architecture, or specific to this gadget, but sometimes when I get back to my iGoogle home page, I see the "Google Tip of the Day" gadget window clipped at the bottom, with expansion arrow control and navigation links "Prev", "Random" and "Next" missing from the view. The only way to repaint the gadget properly is to drag it to somewhere else on the home page.
Broken Tip: Explore Public CalendarsJosh Gann - Mar 9, 2009 - Report this comment
The Tip labeled "Explore Public Calendars" is no longer relevant. It contains a broken link to the Calendar Gallery, too.
Above Exampe of Tip-of-the Day vs. the Real Download - Dave Sawyer - Jan 21, 2009 - Report this comment
Google is so jam packed with great functions and information that I really appreciate this gadget. I do wish, though, that the real tip-gadget was configured like the above example. What I downloaded to my homepage does not have the "prev", "random", and "next" searches. Consequently, I have to wait for each new day to see if the tip-of-the-day contains useful info that I can use. In addition to the daily tip Google provides, I would like to be able to scan through the tips to find the ones that are most useful for my needs. Thanks.

Google's doing a great job. They understand their users so well. It's the coolest, friendliest search engine on the web and not just a search engine but so much more! Google's my HOME ON THE WEB! I Love Google! I Google! ;)
I like how yesterday's [ 4/27 ] tip: "Google Toolbar's SpellCheck button hunts down and eradicates speling mistakes that inadvertently appear in your email and discussion group messages. If you're feeling lucky, let AutoFix correct all of your text with a single click." Mis-spelled 'speling'. Love the tips - keep them coming! Remember - efficiency is intelligent laziness!
