Google Images with Sorting

When you search for an image, you’ll not only see images related to your search, you can also sort the results by subject.

Go to images.google.com and type in your query, or search on Google and click on the Images tab in the left hand panel of your results page.
Click on Sort by subject in the left hand panel.

Sorting gives you a new way to start your search by exploring categories visually, like when you’re looking to get a dog.

If you need a particular image, like a picture of coffee for a presentation, sorting can help you hone in on exactly what you’re looking for.

Searching for broad topics sorted by subject, like the 1940s or Sydney, allows you to explore and learn visually.
