Chromebooks quickly connect to your school's Wi-Fi or (optional) 3G network at boot. A battery that lasts all day makes it easy for you to keep working after school or at home.

Security

No need for anti-virus software.

With defense-in-depth technology, Chrome devices are built with layers of protection against malware and security attacks. And since files are stored in the cloud, there’s no need to worry about lost homework.

Auto-Updates

Chrome devices keep getting better.

Chrome devices automatically update at boot, so they always have the latest version of the Chrome operating system without you having to think about it. No need for time-consuming installs, updates, or re-imaging.

Apps

Educational tools in a browser.

Chrome devices can seamlessly access the free Google Apps for Education suite of productivity and collaboration tools, as well as apps available in the Chrome Web Store and content across the entire web. There’s no complicated software to buy and install, and no CDs to misplace.

Sync

Pick up right where they left off.

With Chrome devices, email, homework, and group projects are stored safely in the cloud and accessible anywhere. So no worries if a student leaves her Chrome devices at school: she can just log into another computer and get right back to work.
