Kigali Institute of Science and Technology, RwandaIgisoro is a two player game in the Mancala family. This variant is played primarily in Rwanda. Igisoro, like Omweso, is played with an 8×4 board of pits and 64 seeds. Each player starts with 4 seeds in each pit in the back row of his/her territory. On his/her turn, a player chooses a pit containing seeds in their territory and sows them placing one seed in each pit as she/he moves counter-clockwise around his territory. After two introductory turns for each player (*Kuvuna/Kwivunura*), the player can start targeting his opponent seeds by counter-clockwise turns or sometimes clockwise turns (*Guteba/Kugarama*) around his own territory.
