Pre-University Initiatives

Google’s pre-university outreach programs focus on girls and youth from historically underrepresented minority groups. Our employees take an active role in helping to attract students to these fields, through events both on and off the Google campuses. We want the students to see how a STEM education can enrich their lives and perhaps lead to careers developing the fascinating products and tools they already know and love to use. Employee Resource Groups

Google’s many employee-driven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) draw their membership from across the globe. Google ERGs, like Google Women Engineers, Black Googlers Network, or the Gayglers, create networks within the company that reach across functional and national boundaries provide valuable feedback about the workings of Google’s HR programs and policies, as well as provide valuable opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
