Google Announces Top 10 Gainers for the Week Ending February 24th

Longtime Google search favorite [Britney Spears] topped the charts this week as reports surfaced of her rehab-hopping and sudden desire to go bald. (Searchers found what they were looking for using a number of variations in their queries: [britney shaved head], [britney spears bald], [britney spears hair], and so on.)

And tabloid fans had even more to process, what with the news about [tom brady] and [Bridget Moynahan], as Moynahan revealed this week that she is carrying Brady's baby despite the couple's break-up late last year and his new relationship with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Not to be outdone, the [American Idol] semifinals on TV led to chatter about previous (photographed) exploits of 20-year-old semifinalist [Anontella Barba]; these caught-on-camera moments may now be surfacing on a web browser near you. In other television news, [dancing with the stars] made headlines this week with an announcement that Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno and lightning-rod Beatle divorcee Heather Mills McCartney would be among the celebs showcased when the fourth season premieres March 19. The last entertainment tidbit this time around: fans sought to learn more about the expected premiere of [Black Snake Moan], the second film in a row with the word "snake" in the title to star Samuel L. Jackson -- but its opening has been delayed until March 2.
