Google Announces Top 10 Gainers for the Week Ending March 31st

It was a week of screen-watching for Google users, who sought out news and information about new film releases, DVDs, videogames, and the latest doings on TV. Couch and mouse potatoes converged to read all about [blades of glory], the new Will Ferrell comedy on the world of ice skating that opened March 30, and the announcement that [hayden panettiere] will star in the movie "Fireflies in the Garden" with Julia Roberts.

And channel surfers noted news from [discovery channel], which rolled out a broadband player this week and is making moves to buy out Cox Communications' stake in Animal Planet.
