Usage statistics sent by the Toolbar are not associated with your personal information, and can be disabled through the Toolbar Options.
When you use some advanced features of Toolbar, you may be sending information about the sites you visit to Google. For example, for the PageRank feature to show you more information about a website, the Toolbar has to tell us what site you're visiting by sending us the URL. If you enable Google features like Web History that provide other services based on your search or browsing history, then URLs sent by PageRank will be used for those services as well.
