Even though others want flying cars in the future, I want a healthy environment. If we don't have trees we won't be able to have trees and we won't be able to breathe. I would appreciate no littering.

My wish for Australia is to keep our beaches clean and to protect the marine life. I have drawn the sand without any rubbish on it and the fish are swimming in the fresh, blue sea. There is a girl enjoying the beach and her dog is playing too.

My picture is about the nature and the animals of Australia. The first "G" represents the platypus, and the Sydney Opera House. The "o" represents Australia and the Emu. The other "o" represents an owl. The other "g" represents a possum. The "l" represents a wattle tree and a snake. The "e" represents a lyrebird.

The Long, Winding Road

What I love about Australia is its space and freedom. When you travel on our long, winding roads you see lots of lovely sights like people windsurfing on rocky waves; magnificent, ancient rocks; large areas of bright orange earth; unique Aboriginal paintings and our special animals: kangaroos, koalas and possums.

Behind my G is a tree that symbolizes keeping our environment healthy. My first O is a tire swing that represents happy children. The second O is a water tank that represents saving our water, every school and home should have a water tank to save our water. Behind the G and the E is a house with wind turbines on top to save our energy and the L is a wind mill to also help save our energy.

Kids to be active

My wish for Australia is for kids to be kids and be able to do kid stuff like climb trees, go swimming and get active and healthy. I think kids are becoming unfit and unhealthy because of all the video games and television shows that get kids addicted.

Keep Our Waterways Clean

My wish for Australia is to keep our waterways clean. In Australia we are known for our gorgeous beaches. I think that it is a terrible shame to see rubbish strewn through the water and litter taking the place that could have been a patch of new life. Our waterways also support an amazing number of species of flora and fauna. I think that we, as humans should take more care of the species and their habitats below us. I think we should have more Clean up Australia Days and make it compulsory for all secondary schools to clean their nearest waterway.

My wish for Australia is for non aboriginal Australians to learn the culture and land heritage about the Indigenous people of Australia. By painting this Aboriginal flag based painting; I was trying to remind people that there are two Australian flags not one.

My Google Doodle represents a solution; wind power as a fossil fuel alternative will impede the damage of our picturesque, unique landscape and preserve it for generations to come. MY WISH FOR AUSTRALIA IS.....for people to embrace all cultures so that we can all live as Australians despite where we may come from. We must all continue to embrace what it means to be an 'Australian together'. The title of my work is called Piecing Australia Together in the hope that we will all help to piece the many different things about Australia together to make it the best place it can be.

I wish we could work to preserve our natural heritage;our wildlife and landscapes. It is what we Australians love about our country, it is a huge draw card for Australian tourism. We have animals and a land like no other in the world- we need to keep it that way.

My wish for Australia is to preserve the Australian heritage. The train represents the british settlement in 1788, the beetle represent the aboriginal culture, our golden history(Gold Rush), the foetus represents our future generations to come, our progression of technology(Bell Tower) and our ANZAC history through the ANZAC hat and traditional poppy.

Reconciliation of Australia

My wish for Australia is that everyone gets rid of 'them' and 'us' attitude and that people get along no matter their religion, skin colour or heritage. Australia prides itself on being a multicultural society, but until there is true reconciliation we are unable to move forward into the future.

Only recently since we have occupied the land a large number of species have died and are now endangered. We have destroyed their homes for our own benefit. My wish is that all our animals survive and continue breeding.
