Google combines satellite and aerial imagery, maps, terrain, 3D building models, and KML to put a virtual world at the fingertips of 350 million users through Google Earth. Sharing your geospatial data with Google helps you give these users virtually any geographically oriented content – from population, climate, and pollution information, to urban development and planning data, to the locations of vital community services and utility lines.
Use geospatial information to make your cause clearer to citizens—like showing them the level of infection for given diseases—and millions of people worldwide will be better informed.

Use KML to publish geographic data. KML allows you to display points, lines, images, polygons and models in both Google Earth and Maps. Your KML files can be shared on your website and in the KML Gallery on Google's website.

Include your interesting KML files in the Google Earth KML Gallery. The gallery contains examples of KMLs created by organizations, communities, and users just like you.

We accept high resolution aerial imagery (orthophotography) for inclusion on Google Earth and Google Maps and high quality bare earth raster terrain and elevation data for inclusion on Google Earth. Use the Geospatial Content form to tell us about your geospatial data. If you have 3D content, click here.
