How do I apply?

We do not have a physical application form. To complete your application, you will be asked to fill out an online form and submit electronic versions of your CV, essay responses, transcripts, and recommendation letters. Please scan your transcripts and signed recommendation letters into electronic format (PDF format preferred).

Is it mandatory that I fill out the online application form?

Yes. Your application will not be complete until you submit the completed online form. This information will be our main resource for providing updates on your application status.

Can international students apply for the scholarship?

Yes. If you are currently studying at a Brazilian University and meet our criteria for scholarship eligibility, you can apply regardless of your citizenship.

Do I need to send an official copy of transcripts?

If you cannot obtain an official transcript from your school before the deadline, you can send an unofficial transcript. However, we will require all finalists to provide an official transcript in due course.

What characterizes an official copy of transcripts?

Official transcripts are documents that are authorized and issued by your university and demonstrate your academic performance. The official transcript should include an account of your grades and an explanation of the grading scale at your university.

Do I need to submit the recommendation letters with the rest of my application?

Yes. All application files should be submitted in electronic format through the online application form. Letters should be signed and then scanned.

Can I send my application packet by regular mail?

Unfortunately not. All supporting documents must be submitted in electronic format through the online application form.

How will I know if my application has been received?

We will send you an email notification within ten days of the submission deadline.

Can men apply?

No. This scholarship is dedicated to supporting women in technology. We hope to expand our scholarship program in the future.

How do I apply for an internship?

Scholarship applications are entirely independent of career opportunities at Google. If you are interested in internships and full-time opportunities at Google, please apply separately on other pages of this website.
