Get alerted when your Latitude friends are nearby. Alerts only trigger when:

• You or your friend are at an unusual place, filtering out routine alert cases at home or work.
• You or your friend are at a routine place but at an unusual time.

Privacy Notice

• You must enable location history so that alerts are not sent for your usual or routine location cases. It may take up to a week for us to learn your usual locations and start triggering alerts.
• Alerts are sent to both nearby friends if they are sharing their location with each other, even if only one of them has enabled alerts. You may stop alerts completely below.
• Alerts also notify friends where you usually are on that day and time to explain why your location is unusual and the alert was sent.
