shopping is ok, parking is from HELL By A Google User - Nov 4, 2009 | The gateway is "pretty" and a good attempt at city revitalization. However, is fails in so many ways. This is no Lodo. Duluth, MN even beats this place hands down! Built on a single axis Gateway is a long walk no matter how you trek it. The parking is located in underground lots run by parking nazi's. There are validation cards- which will not cover dinner and a movie and are a HUGE hassle. Street parking is 2 HR and expensive. Inside Gateway you will find all the routine chain stores. There are maybe three stores that are not found in every mall in America. To make matters worse the things for sale are outdated compared to any other place I've been and for certain you will get a better price and a better selection at any of their online stores. There are fantastic places to eat in Salt Lake but none of them are in Gateway. I avoid this place because it just isn't worth the hassle for the return. There is better food on Market St. and better shopping in Sugarhouse ... More » |

Love The Gateway!! By A Google User - May 18, 2009 | I always love shopping at The Gateway. I live about 1 hour south of Gateway and I pass two other malls on my way! I love it when I get to spend and afternoon up there. |
