- Jan 9, 2008 Disgusting, low quality Beautiful house in the center of Vancouver - what else could you ask for??? Well, at least semi-edible food would be a good start... The bartender advised to stay away from the house wine said it was a blend...he didn't even know of what...I ordered a pinot gris from the very poor and short list - it was bitter, tried another one - was drinkable but nothing more. Ordered the tasting platter for an appetizer - mushrooms stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella sticks and calamari all served with some (probably store bought) marinara sauce...edible but poor...at that time I was already sorry we ordered second course... My husband had a trio of lasagna, canelloni and chicken parmigana all swimming in tomato sauce, tasting exactly the same except for the chicken which was burnt underneath the sauce. My spaghetti with came with 4 shrimp, some crab meat and a strange smell...I ate a few fork fulls and called it a day, my stomech was not happy even with the small amount... Bad, bad, bad...
