Good coffee, good food, mediocre service. | This is the thing: I want to like Milagro. A lot. I'm very fond of their coffee, their sandwiches are fantastic, and they're near my apartment which is kinda nice. But the service otherwise leaves much to be desired. Definite shortage of outlets for laptop-users, for one thing--when I've gone on even not-very-busy evenings there's often nowhere available to plug in. The staff are not as friendly as I have experienced at other places nearby and on several occasions now have actually forgotten to prepare my food--and never offered so much as a discount after making me wait an extra 20-30 minutes each time. (The food is kind of slow to begin with, so it takes awhile to figure out that no, it's not actually coming at all.) Probably a fine place to stop if you're just after a coffee, if you intend to eat or hang out for awhile it leaves something to be desired. |
