Google Mobile Tricks

FAQ

What's this all about?

At Google, we think mobile phones are pretty neat. We're fascinated by just how much phone usage has changed over the past few years. From using your phone to search the internet, to using your phone's camera to see if you have spinach in your teeth, to putting a phone in a blender, we know you've come up with new ways to use your mobile. We want to see them! Share your tricks with the world, and see what else that little device can do. If we like your submission, we'll put it in one of our playlists.

How should I submit?

Make a video of something great you can do with your phone. It can be useful, like using Google on your mobile to figure out what that scary flashing "check engine" light means in your car. It can be completely ridiculous, like juggling your phone, a rubber chicken, and a bowling ball. Anything goes, so show us what you can do! Make sure your video is no more than 90 seconds long, and starts and ends with the following frames.

Go here to download them to your video editing software or print them out. Upload your video to your own YouTube account. Then, submit it to Google Mobile Tricks through our YouTube page. We'll add all the ones we like to our playlists, and blog about the very best ones.
