Calendar SMS is part of Google’s SMS applications.
How it works
- Register your mobile phone by going to google.com/calendar and completing Settings > Mobile Setup.
- You will receive SMS text message notifications for upcoming events on your calendar.
- You can cancel Calendar SMS notifications whenever you want.
Features
To receive a notification with your calendar information, send a text message containing one of the following commands to the shortcode 48368 (GVENT):
- NEXT – Request your next scheduled event
- DAY – Request all your scheduled events for the present day
- NDAY – Request your events scheduled for the following day
- STOP – Opt out of receiving SMS messsages from Google Calendar on your phone
Standard message and data rates may apply. The 48368 (GVENT) feature is only available for mobile numbers issued within the United States. The service is unavailable on some mobile providers.
