Uncertainty

A state of not fully believing, when an actor is unsure;

the degree to which there are no constraints or limitations on the choices an actor has available or the possible outcomes in a situation;

Also: the quality, state, or condition of not being able to know or predict something accurately;

the situation prevailing when an action resulting from an outcome is not known with certainty, and even the probabilities of various possible outcomes are unknown or cannot be meaningfully estimated.

Uncertain

Unable to be accurately known or predicted;

not clearly determined, established, or decided, or not to be depended upon, unreliable or unstable - likely to change, variable.

†Certain/certainty

Guaranteed to happen, that something, e.g., an event, is considered inevitable;

holding no doubts about something, e.g., an outcome;

having full confidence that something - a proposition - is true.
