Please bear in mind
The blogs (Belief, judgement, and clear thinking and associated Glossary) are written to give a very slight ‘taste’ of the subject matter – they do not, and are not intended to, survey or be a summary of the relevant literature:
Ü |
the blogs are not written in the manner of, and do not purport to be, scientific articles; |
Ü |
the blogs are (deliberately) very short, they can only provide the barest of preliminary introductions to anyone unfamiliar with the subject matter; |
Ü |
things being well, they may provoke the reader to “go into” the subject through undertaking their own further research (some references at the end of the text); |
Ü |
they may engage the reader to notice human fallibility to a somewhat greater degree; |
Ü |
it is readily conceded that the writing style may be ‘rough’ in places; |
Ü |
the ideas and information is all derived from the literature, none of the content is original to the ‘poster’; |
Ü |
referring to the previous point: any errors contained in the blogs are the responsibility of the ‘poster’; |
