Please bear in mind

The blogs (Belief, judgement, and clear thinking and associated Glossary) are written to give a very slight taste of the subject matter – they do not, and are not intended to, survey or be a summary of the relevant literature:

Ü

the blogs are not written in the manner of, and do not purport to be, scientific articles;

Ü

the blogs are (deliberately) very short, they can only provide the barest of preliminary introductions to anyone unfamiliar with the subject matter;

Ü

things being well, they may provoke the reader to go into the subject through undertaking their own further research (some references at the end of the text);

Ü

they may engage the reader to notice human fallibility to a somewhat greater degree;

Ü

it is readily conceded that the writing style may be rough in places;

Ü

the ideas and information is all derived from the literature, none of the content is original to the ‘poster’;

Ü

referring to the previous point: any errors contained in the blogs are the responsibility of the poster;
