Treatment

In a clinical context, any medical or therapeutic procedure administered with the purpose of alleviating or eliminating a particular disorder, disease, or related problem;

In research, an experimental condition or independent variable;

more generally: the specific manner in which an individual regards, handles, deals with, cares for, or otherwise behaves towards another or other persons – or a claim, subject, argument, or hypothesis.
