Confidence level In survey research: the degree of accuracy which experience indicates can be assumed on the basis of a sample of a certain size for a population of a certain size; Correlations: very generally – an estimation of the degree to which the data analyzed provides good evidence for the existence of a correlation between variables studied in the target population, often computed at the standard 95% level.
