The state-of-affairs decisions or actions lead to or produce;

a specific result of an experiment or research study, etc., one of the possible results of an experiment;

a measurable change in an object, person, or set of circumstances of some kind which is attributable to a particular action;

a result, effect, or consequence occurring from the performance (or non-performance) of a function or process;
