Decision The act of making a choice or arriving at a solution – an action taken with the intention (usually) of producing a favourable outcome.
A decision is said to be successful if it brings about an outcome at least as satisfactory as would have been yielded by any other course the decision-maker might have pursued, otherwise the decision fails.
