Clairvoyant test

Could a clairvoyant – assuming one existed – tell you unambiguously whether a particular uncertain event of interest would or would not occur prior to its (possible) occurrence? Alternatively, if a bet were placed contingent upon the outcome, the event would have to be defined in such a way that the loser of the wager could not escape his or her obligation.
