after your current page when you need to give something further explanation in a
lesson.

If you get the "fitted" type sheet, they have built in "grippers" to stay put!

I can see it would be useful to have different inputs available at the click of a button and an easy way to manage and save inputs, as well as a stright forward way of just typing them in. Dan Word dice2 I've got notepad set as my default editor for .txt files and in settings I haven't got the text option ticked in my linked file hosting options - so this means I can edit directly in notepad and use - file - save, to update the text files used. Use the recorder feature, and save it as a quicktime file. Then you could set-up your own podcast through iTunes, and have your students subscribe and download onto their iTouch. Hi Debbie, I do this all the time and a quick way that I do it is put the flipcharts side by side. View both flips in their page organizers and drag whichever page I need into the other flipcharts organizer. It will ask you whether you want to move or copy the page. All the interactions follow along with it. Although if you have links set up to go to new pages in the flip, you may need to reset them. But everything else should still work. You could also go into the Flipchart builder, but I find side by side flips and dragging between windows is easy. I hope this is what you meant.  Choosing volunteers - Promethean Planet Forums

If you want to keep the object invisible you can do that also. So after you create an object anywhere on the flipchart....go to actions and assign it an Activstudio action, specifically "toolbox rollup". Then make the object invisible if you like. Now you can roll up the toolbox by tapping on the invisible object. recordings in this way you would have set the sound recording settings to save
the save sound to a file, or use the both setting, so the sound is added to the
page as well as saved as a file. This can be done by going into settings, selecting recordings and then checking the appropriate box under sound recordings. If you still want to link to that sound file that is only saved on the flipchart page, then I suggest you extract it by opeinng the flipchart with a zip program and then saving sound file (probably called speech1.wav) to a folder and then linking in the normal way. When you drag the flipchart sound icon into your library the program gives it an as2 file ext name which means it's no longer recognised as a sound file - hence the need for saving as a sound file as outlined above. -First download the flipchart. -Rename the file as ticker.zip -Then using the unzip program, unzip the renamed zipped file -This will create a folder called ticker. -Inside this folder you will see many files....a flash.swf file, config.xml, several image files. -Open the config.xml file with Notepad. -You will scripts on this file. Follow the script logic and you will soon recognize the text that appears in the ticker. Change the text to your liking. -Make sure you do not change any syntax, otherwise it will break. -replace the image files with your files. -edit the image file path to match your image file names.
