I read these sites pretty much every day, either though RSS or directly.
Always interesting reading, the homework seems to be pretty solid, but the bias here is to establish that medical issues like treatment of fat patients and treatment of children are both at-issue from a medical, and ethical standpoint.
Not entirely unbiased but better than a lot of US-based news sources.
I almost always check Metafilter for interesting reading.
This section is for links I encounter some other way than via RSS that I find interesting. I will try to remember to mark NSFW content as such in the first few lines of text about it.
A game or an homage to a game, or an homage to an homage of a game?
A similar game to above, happening all the time, apparently, games, actually, lots.
I played part of one of these games once.
Bridges built of uncooked spaghetti. Wow. 252kg.
This section is for sites I find generally interesting and helpful. If they're NSFW. I'll say so in the first line or so of text about them.
Kevin Kelly has a lot to recommend him. I tend to read
Cool Tools through RSS and sometimes look at other bits of the site. He
has the same name as a former coworker and friend of mine, too, but
he's a different guy.
Ask MetaFilter is always an interesting read.
MetaFilter Projects is also usually pretty interesting.
This section for recipes I find that look interesting/good/fun, but probably haven't tried.
I LOVE big fluffy ginger cookies. But I am thinking perhaps enlivening it with actual grated ginger and cutting down some other liquid or something. Maybe?
