Google Buttons for the Macintosh Internet Explorer Browser
A. Prepare your Browser
- Make sure your Button Bar is showing. If you cannot see it, go to the View menu to make it appear..
- To make additional space on your toolbar, edit your bookmarks by pressing Apple -J. Click on the button icon and select "Clear" under the "Edit" menu.
B. Drag Links onto your Button Bar to Create Buttons

NOTE: The highlighting functionality of the Google Search button does not work with Macintosh Internet Explorer. Clicking the Google Search button will prompt a search box. |

C. Try the Buttons
Google Search
- Click the Google Search button to prompt a search box.
- Enter a phrase such as "Stanford University" and hit 'OK' to do a Google web search for the phrase.
Google.com
- Simply click the Google.com button to quickly go to the Google homepage located at www.google.com.
NOTES: The Google Browser Buttons are tailored to the browser you are using. They should work for recent versions, but may not work for older browsers.
