Abstract

An air filtering device including a circular plate (14), a plurality of fan blades (12) fixedly attached to the circular plate, the fan blades (12) extending downwardly from the lower surface of the circular plate (14), a filter frame (5) having an air permeable cylindrical inner wall (9), having an upper wall (6), having a lower wall (8), and having an air permeable cylindrical outer wall (7), the air permeable cylindrical inner wall (9), the air permeable cylindrical outer wall (7), the upper wall (6), and the lower wall (7) defining a cylindrical filter media containing space, air filtering media (11) extending annularly around the air permeable cylindrical inner wall (9) within the cylindrical filter media containing space, and filter frame attaching means (10) attaching the filter frame (5) so that it extends annularly around the outer edges of the fan blades.
