Abstract

The present invention relates to novel cinnamide compounds of formula I, (see formula I) with the proviso that at least one of R1 to R3 is a "cis-cinnamide" or a "trans-cinnamide", defined as (see formula II and III) that are useful for treating inflammatory and immune disease, to pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, and to methods of inhibiting inflammation or suppressing immune response in a mammal.
