Description

用于给药装置的驱动机构
技术领域
本发明涉及适用于给药装置(药品输送装置)尤其是笔型注射器的驱动机构,该驱动机构具有剂量设定装置,从而使得可从多次剂量的药筒进行药品的给药。具体地,本发明涉及其中用户可设定剂量的给药装置。
背景技术
这种给药装置应用于由未受到正规医学培训的人员即患者进行定时注射的场合。这在患有糖尿病的患者中越来越普遍,自我治疗使得这种人员可对他们的糖尿病进行有效的用药。
这些情况为这种给药装置提出了许多要求。这种装置的结构必须坚固,并且就部件的操作以及使用者对其操作和所需剂量药品的输送的理解来说,要易于使周。剂量设定必须容易且明确。在使用者患有糖尿病的情况下,许多使用者体质弱且还可能视力减退,这就要求该驱动机构具有较低的分配力,且剂量设定显示器易于读取。在该装置是一次性的而不是可重复使用的情况下,该装置的制造应便宜,且易于处理(优选地适于回收)。为了满足这些要求,组装该装置所需的部件的数量以及制造该装置的材料种类的数量需要保持最小。
由使用者操作的给药装置在医药领域内是公知的。
US 5304152中公开了一种分配装置,其体部长度与活塞长度的比率是大约1∶1以便可分配较大的剂量。尽管此种装置比现有技术有了很大改进,但是在既不分配设定量的流体又不拆开药筒的条件下容易地对过剂量的设定进行改正的问题仍没有解决。
WO9938554A2提出一种从药筒中分配设定剂量的药品的注射器,其中公开了一种包括单向联接件(即棘轮)的驱动机构,该驱动机构允许改正设定的过多剂量而不需要分配该设定量的流体或需要拆开该药筒。
令人惊讶的是,已发现不具有单向联接件的根据本发明的驱动机构为驱动机构提供了一种有价值的技术方案,其中致动该机构所需的力减小。这可通过引入本发明所限定的离合器装置来实现。根据本发明的驱动机构还具有直观和容易使用以改正设定的剂量的优点。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一个方面,提供一种用于给药装置的驱动机构,包括:
具有螺旋螺纹的壳体;
具有与所述壳体的螺旋螺纹相接合的螺旋螺纹的剂量标度套管;
可释放地连接到所述剂量标度套管的驱动套管;以及
位于该剂量标度套管和驱动套管之间的离合器装置;
其特征在于,
a)当该剂量标度套管和驱动套管联接时,允许该剂量标度套管和驱动套管相对于该壳体旋转;以及
b)当该剂量标度套管和驱动套管断开联接时,允许该剂量标度套管相对于该壳体旋转,而不允许该驱动套管相对于该壳体旋转,其中允许该驱动套管进行轴向运动,从而沿纵向方向向该给药装置的近端传递力。
在本发明的驱动机构的一优选实施例中,所述驱动机构还包括一活塞杆,该活塞杆适于穿过该壳体操作,并沿所述纵向方向将所述力传递给该给药装置的近端。
在本发明的驱动机构的另一优选实施例中,所述剂量标度套管还包括螺旋螺纹,该螺纹的导程与所述驱动套管的螺纹的导程相同。
在本发明的一更具体的实施例中,该驱动机构还包括一螺母,其可相对于该驱动套管旋转并可轴向移动,但是不能相对于该壳体旋转。
根据本发明的术语“给药装置”是指设计成用于分配选定剂量的药品(优选地是多次选定剂量)例如胰岛素、生长激素、低分子量肝素以及它们的类似物和/或衍生物等的单次剂量或多次剂量的、一次性的或可重复使用的装置。所述装置可以是任何类型的,例如小型或笔型。可通过机械(任选地,手动)或电力驱动机构或储能驱动机构例如弹簧等来实现剂量输送。可通过手动机构或电子机构来实现剂量选择。另外,所述装置可包括设计成用于监控生理特性例如血糖等级等的元件。而且,所述装置可包括针头或者没有针头。特别地,术语“给药装置”是指具有机械和手动剂量输送和剂量选择机构的一次性的、多次剂量的笔型装置,该装置设计成可由没有受过正规医学训练的人例如患者定时使用。优选地,给药装置是注射器型的。
根据本发明的术语“壳体”优选地是指具有螺旋螺纹的任何外部壳体(“主壳体”、“体部”、“壳”)或内部壳体(“插入件”、“内体部”)。该壳体设计成使得能够安全、正确和舒适地操纵该给药装置或其任何机构。通常,该壳体设计成通过对暴露于污染物例如液体、灰尘、污垢等进行限制来容纳、固定、保护、引导和/或接合该给药装置的任何内部元件(例如驱动机构、药筒、活塞、活塞杆)。通常,该壳体可以是管形或非管形的一体的或多部件的元件。通常,该外部壳体用于容纳药筒,可从该药筒分配多种剂量的药品。
在本发明的一更具体的实施例中,该外部壳体具有多个最大剂量止动件,该止动件适于被设置在该剂量标度套管上的径向止动件紧靠于其上。优选地,至少一个该最大剂量止动件包括位于螺旋螺纹和设置在壳体的第二端处的花键装置之间的径向止动件。
可选择地,至少一个该最大剂量止动件包括设置在该壳体的第二端处的抬高的窗口部分的一部分。
根据本发明的术语“接合的”尤其是指该驱动机构/给药装置的两个或更多元件的联锁,例如花键、螺纹或啮合的齿的连接,优选地是元件的螺旋螺纹的联锁(“螺纹接合”)。
根据本发明的术语“螺旋螺纹”优选地是指位于给药装置的元件的内部和/或外部表面上的全螺纹或部分螺纹,例如圆柱形螺旋肋部/凹槽,其横截面基本为三角形或方形或圆形,并设计成允许在元件之间进行连续的自由旋转和/或轴向运动。任选地,螺纹还可设计成阻止特定的元件沿一个方向发生旋转运动或轴向运动。
根据本发明的术语“剂量标度套管”是指其横截面基本为圆形的基本为管形的元件,包括:
a)内部和外部螺纹,或
b)内部螺纹,或
c)外部螺纹,
优选地,根据本发明的剂量标度套管包括螺旋螺纹,该螺纹的导程接近且优选地等于驱动套管的螺旋螺纹的导程。在另一个优选实施例中,该剂量标度套管设计成用于指示选定剂量的可分配的药品。这可通过使用例如印制在剂量标度套管的外表面上的标记、符号、数字等或测距器或类似物来实现。
在本发明的一更具体的实施例中,剂量标度套管具有多个径向延伸的构件,该构件适于紧靠设置在该壳体的第二端的对应的多个径向止动件。
根据本发明的术语“导程”优选地是指螺母在旋转一整圈时前进的轴向距离;优选地,“导程”是指驱动机构的具有螺旋螺纹的元件,即剂量标度套管、驱动套管、活塞杆等在一次旋转期间行进的轴向距离。因此,导程与相关元件的螺纹的螺距有关。
根据本发明的术语“螺距”优选地是指平行于螺旋螺纹的轴线测量出的螺旋螺纹上的连续轮廓之间的距离。
根据本发明的术语“驱动套管”是指其横截面基本为圆形的任何基本为管形的元件,该元件可释放地连接到该剂量标度套管上。在一优选实施例中,该驱动套管还与活塞杆相接合。
在本发明的一更具体的实施例中,该驱动套管在第一端具有第一和第二凸缘,并在该第一和第二凸缘之间具有中间螺旋螺纹,从而使一螺母设置在该第一和第二凸缘之间并通过花键装置连接到该壳体上。任选地,可在螺母的第二表面上设置第一径向止动件,并在第二凸缘的第一表面上设置第二径向止动件。
根据本发明的术语“可释放地连接”优选地是指本发明的机构或装置的两个元件例如通过离合器可逆地相互连接,这使得可以相接合和脱离接合。
根据本发明的术语“活塞杆”是指适于穿过该壳体/在该壳体内操作的元件,其设计成用于穿过该给药装置/在该给药装置内传递轴向运动,优选地从驱动套管传递到该活塞,以便排出/分配可注射的药品。所述活塞杆可以是柔性的,也可以不是柔性的。它可以是简单的杆、导向螺杆、齿条齿轮系统、蜗轮传动系统或类似物。“活塞杆”还指其横截面为圆形或非圆形的元件。该活塞杆可由本领域内的技术人员已知的任何合适的材料制成。
在一优选实施例中,活塞杆包括至少一个、多个(优选地两个)外部和/或内部螺旋螺纹。在根据本发明的活塞杆的另一优选实施例中,第一螺旋螺纹位于所述活塞杆的第一端,且第二螺旋螺纹位于所述活塞杆的第二端,其中所述螺纹的设置相同或优选地相反。在另一优选实施例中,本发明的活塞杆在第一和第二端包括导程相同的螺纹。
在本发明的另一优选实施例中,活塞杆的第一螺旋螺纹的导程大于第二螺旋螺纹的导程。更优选地,所述第一和第二螺旋螺纹的螺纹导程的比率是1∶1.01到1∶20,甚至更优选地是1∶1.1到1∶10。优选地,所述螺纹之一设计成与该驱动套管相接合。
可选择地,在本发明的活塞杆的另一优选实施例中,活塞杆设计成任选地通过轴颈轴承附装一齿轮,其中所述齿轮设计成与该驱动套管的螺纹以及一齿条的齿相啮合,其中所述齿条固定在该壳体上。
根据本发明的术语“第一端”是指近端。该装置或该装置的元件的近端是指距离该装置的分配端最近的端部。
根据本发明的术语“第二端”是指远端。该装置或该装置的元件的远端是指距离该装置的分配端最远的端部。
根据本发明的术语“离合器装置”是指任何这样的装置:该装置使该剂量标度套管和该驱动套管可释放地连接,并且该装置设计成允许在该剂量标度套管和该驱动套管联接时该剂量标度套管和该驱动套管相对于该壳体旋转,并在两者脱离联接时,允许该剂量标度套管相对于该壳体旋转,但不允许该驱动套管相对于该壳体旋转,并允许该驱动套管轴向运动。优选地,该离合器装置将驱动套管可释放地连接到壳体。因此,术语“离合器装置”是指为了可逆地锁定两个元件使其不能(相对)旋转而接合的任何离合器,例如通过使用轴向力以使一组表面齿(锯齿、犬齿、冠齿)或任何其它合适的摩擦面相接合。
在本发明的一更具体的实施例中,离合器装置的第二端具有多个适于与剂量标度套管的第二端相接合的犬齿。
在一可选择的实施例中,本发明的离合器装置是锁紧弹簧,其可例如通过剂量标度按钮在松弛的第一位置和变形的第二位置之间操作,在该第一位置该剂量标度套管被锁定成与该驱动套管一起旋转,在该第二位置该剂量标度套管被锁定成与该壳体一起旋转。
在本发明的又一实施例中,驱动机构还包括任选地设置在该离合器装置和设置在该壳体上的花键装置之间的响声器装置(clicker means)。
任选地,该响声器装置包括一套管,该套管在第一端具有螺旋形延伸的臂,在该臂的自由端具有一带齿构件,并在第二端具有多个沿圆周定向的锯齿,该锯齿适于接合设置在该离合器装置上的对应的多个沿圆周的锯齿。
可选择地,该响声器装置包括一套管,该套管在第一端具有至少一个螺旋形延伸的臂和至少一个弹簧件,在该臂的自由端具有一带齿构件,并在第二端具有多个沿圆周定向的锯齿,该锯齿适于接合设置在该离合器装置上的对应的多个沿圆周定向的锯齿。
在本发明的驱动机构的另一实施例中,该驱动机构具有第一止动装置,该止动装置的形式优选地为位于剂量标度套管上的外部凸缘,并适于接合与该壳体相关联的限制装置,该限制装置的形式优选地为位于壳体内的内部凸缘,以限制可用标度设定的最大剂量。在本发明的驱动机构的又一实施例中,该驱动机构还具有第二止动装置,该止动装置的形式优选地为位于驱动套管上的外部凸缘,并适于接合限制装置,该限制装置的形式优选地为限制螺母,该螺母键接到该壳体上并安装成用于在该驱动套管的一外部带螺纹部分上旋转,以规定行程的终止点(an end of life stop)。
本发明的第二个方面是提供一种用于给药装置的组件,该组件包括根据本发明的驱动机构。
本发明的第三个方面提供了一种给药装置,该给药装置包括根据本发明的驱动机构或组件。
本发明的第四个方面是提供一种组装给药装置的方法,该方法包括提供根据本发明的驱动机构或组件的步骤。
本发明的第五个方面是根据本发明的给药装置的应用,其用于分配药品,优选地分配包含选自胰岛素、生长激素、低分子量肝素以及它们的类似物和衍生物的活性化合物的药物配方(例如溶液、悬浮液等)。

具体实施方式
示例1
首先参照图1-5,其中示出处于多个位置的根据本发明的给药装置。
该给药装置包括一壳体,该壳体具有第一药筒保持装置2,和第二主(外部)壳体部件4。药筒保持装置2的第一端和主壳体4的第二端通过保持部件6固定在一起。在所示的实施例中,药筒保持装置2紧固在主壳体4的第二端内。
在药筒保持装置2内设置有药筒8,从该药筒可分配多种剂量的药品。活塞10被保持在药筒8的第一端内。
活动盖12被可释放地保持在药筒保持装置2的第二端上。在使用时,活动盖12可被使用者用合适的针组件(未示出)代替。可更换的盖14用于覆盖从主壳体4延伸的药筒保持装置2。优选地,可更换的盖14的外部尺寸接近或等于主壳体4的外部尺寸,以便在该可更换的盖14处于覆盖药筒保持装置2的位置时进行整体压印。
在所示的实施例中,一插入件16设置在主壳体4的第一端处。插入件16被固定,从而不能进行旋转或纵向运动。插入件16具有一从中穿过的带螺纹的圆形开口18。可选择地,该插入件可与主壳体4一体地形成,并且形式为具有内部螺纹的沿径向向内定向的凸缘。
第一螺纹19从活塞杆20的第一端延伸。活塞杆20的截面通常为圆形。活塞杆20的第一端延伸通过插入件16中的带螺纹的开口18。压脚22位于活塞杆20的第一端上。压脚22设置成紧靠药筒的活塞10的第二端。第二螺纹24从活塞杆20的第二端延伸。在所示的实施例中,第二螺纹24包括多个部分螺纹而不是一个全螺纹。所示的实施例较容易制造,并且有助于降低在分配药品时由使用者致动该装置所需的全部力。
第一螺纹19和第二螺纹24相反地设置。活塞杆20的第二端具有接纳凹槽26。
驱动套管30围绕活塞杆20延伸。驱动套管30通常为圆筒形。驱动套管30在第一端具有沿径向延伸的第一凸缘32。沿径向延伸的第二凸缘34沿驱动套管30与第一凸缘32相隔一定距离设置。中间螺纹36设置在驱动套管30的外部部分上并在第一凸缘32和第二凸缘34之间延伸。螺旋形凹槽(螺纹)38沿驱动套管30的内表面延伸。活塞杆20的第二螺纹24适于在该螺旋形凹槽38内行进。
第一凸缘32的第一端适于与插入件16的第二侧相适应。
螺母40位于驱动套管30和主壳体2之间,并设置在第一凸缘32和第二凸缘34之间。在所示的实施例中,螺母40是对开螺母。这样有助于该装置的装配。螺母40的内螺纹与中间螺纹36相匹配。螺母40的外表面与主壳体4的内表面通过花键42连接在一起(图10、11、15和16),以防止在螺母40和主壳体4之间发生相对旋转,同时允许在它们之间进行相对的纵向运动。
在驱动套管30的第二端和设置在驱动套管30的第二端处的延伸部38之间形成肩部37。与驱动套管30的其余部分相比,延伸部38的内径和外径均减小。延伸部38的第二端具有一沿径向向外定向的凸缘39。
响声器50和离合器60在驱动套管30和剂量标度套管70(下文将说明)之间围绕驱动套管30设置。
响声器50位于靠近驱动套管30的第二凸缘34处。响声器50通常为圆筒形,并且在第一端具有柔性的螺旋形延伸的臂52(图6)。臂52的一自由端具有沿径向定向的带齿构件54。响声器50的第二端具有多个沿圆周定向的锯齿56(图7)。每个锯齿包括一纵向定向表面和一倾斜表面。
在一可选择的实施例(未示出)中,响声器还包括至少一个弹簧件。该至少一个弹簧件有助于在分配后使离合器60复位。
离合器60位于靠近驱动套管30的第二端处。离合器60大致为圆筒形,并且在其第一端具有多个沿圆周定向的锯齿66(图7)。每个锯齿包括一纵向定向表面和一倾斜表面。朝向离合器60的第二端64设置有沿径向向内定向的凸缘62。离合器60的凸缘62位于驱动套管30的肩部37和延伸部38的沿径向向外定向的凸缘39之间。离合器60的第二端具有多个犬齿65(图8)。离合器60通过花键(未示出)连接到该驱动套管30上,以防止在离合器60和驱动套管30之间发生相对旋转。
在所示的实施例中,响声器50和离合器60均延伸驱动套管30的长度的大约一半。但是,应理解关于这些部件的相对长度的其它设置也是可以的。
响声器50和离合器60如图7中所示相接合。
剂量标度套管70设置在响声器50和离合器60的外部,并从主壳体4沿径向向内。螺旋形凹槽74围绕剂量标度套管70的外表面设置。
主壳体4具有一窗口44,通过该窗口可看到剂量标度套管的外表面的一部分。主壳体4还具有螺旋形肋部(螺纹)46,其适于安置在剂量标度套管70的外表面上的螺旋形凹槽(螺纹)74内。螺旋形肋部46延伸形成主壳体4的内表面上的单个曲线(single sweep)。第一止动件100设置在花键42和螺旋形肋部46之间(图15)。第二止动件102由围绕主壳体4中的窗口44的框架形成,该第二止动件设置成与第一止动件100成180°的角度(图16)。
方便地,可被用标度设定的剂量的可视标记例如参考数字(未示出)设置在剂量标度套管70的外表面上。窗口44方便地仅允许看到当前被设定的剂量的可视标记。
剂量标度套管70的第二端具有形式为多个径向延伸件75的向内定向的凸缘。剂量标度夹持件76设置成围绕剂量标度套管70的第二端的外表面。剂量标度夹持件76的外径优选地等于主壳体4的外径。剂量标度夹持件76固定在剂量标度套管70上以防止在它们之间发生相对运动。剂量标度夹持件76具有中心开口78。位于剂量标度夹持件76的第二端内的环形凹槽80围绕开口78延伸。
截面大致为“T”形的按钮82设置在该装置的第二端处。按钮82的杆部84可延伸穿过剂量标度夹持件76中的开口78,并穿过驱动套管30的延伸部38的内径并进入活塞杆20的接纳凹槽26内。杆部84被保持成可在驱动套管30内进行受限的轴向运动,并且不能相对于该驱动套管旋转。按钮82的头部85大致为圆形。围缘86从头部85的周向垂下。围缘86适于安置在剂量标度夹持件76的环形凹槽80内。
下面将说明根据本发明的给药装置的操作。在图9、10和11中,箭头A、B、C、D、E、F和G分别代表按钮82、剂量标度夹持件76、剂量标度套管70、驱动套管30、离合器60、响声器50和螺母40的运动。
为了用标度设定一个剂量(图9),使用者旋转剂量标度夹持件76(箭头B)。通过响声器50和离合器60相接合,驱动套管30、响声器50、离合器60和剂量标度套管70与剂量标度夹持件76一起旋转。
可通过响声器50和离合器60提供被设定的剂量的可听见的和可触知的反馈。通过锯齿56、66在响声器50和离合器60之间传递力矩。柔性臂52发生变形并在花键42上方拖动带齿构件54以产生卡嗒声。优选地,花键42设置成每个卡嗒声对应于一个常用的单位剂量或类似物。
剂量标度套管70上的螺旋形凹槽74和驱动套管30中的螺旋形凹槽38具有相同的导程。这使得剂量标度套管70(箭头C)可从主壳体4伸出,并且驱动套管30(箭头D)以同样的速度沿活塞杆20爬升。在行程的边界处,剂量标度套管70上的径向止动件104(图12)接合设置在主壳体4上的第一止动件100或第二止动件102,以阻止进一步移动。
由于活塞杆20上的被放松的(overhauled)螺纹与被旋紧的(driven)螺纹的方向相反,因此可防止活塞杆20旋转。
键接到主壳体4的螺母40由于驱动套管30的旋转(箭头D)而沿中间螺纹36前进。当到达最终的剂量被分配的位置(图4、5和13)时,在螺母40的第二表面上形成的径向止动件106紧靠驱动套管30的第二凸缘34的第一表面上的径向止动件108,以便防止螺母40和驱动套管30进一步旋转。
在一可选择的实施例(未示出)中,螺母40的第一表面具有用于紧靠设置在第一凸缘32的第二表面上的径向止动件的径向止动件。这样有助于在装配该给药装置期间使螺母40位于药筒装满的位置。
如果使用者无意间用标度设定的剂量超过所需剂量,则该给药装置允许减小该剂量的设定而无需从药筒分配药品(图10)。使剂量标度夹持件76反向旋转(箭头B)。这使该系统相反地起作用。柔性臂52防止响声器50旋转。通过离合器60传递的力矩使锯齿56、66彼此跨过,从而产生对应于减小设定的剂量的卡嗒声。优选地,锯齿56、66设置成每个锯齿的圆周长度对应于一个单位剂量。
当已用标度设定所需剂量时,使用者可以随后通过按下按钮82来分配该剂量(图11)。这使离合器60相对于剂量标度套管70沿轴向移动,从而使犬齿65脱离接合。但是,离合器60保持键接到驱动套管30,从而与其一起旋转。剂量标度套管70和相关联的剂量标度夹持件76此时可自由旋转(由位于螺旋形凹槽74中的螺旋形肋部46引导)。

驱动套管30的纵向轴向运动使活塞杆20穿过插入件16中的开口18而旋转,从而使活塞10在药筒8中前进。一旦已分配所设定的剂量,就可通过使从剂量标度夹持件76延伸的多个构件110(图14)与在主壳体4中形成的对应的多个止动件112(图15和16)相接触,来防止剂量标度套管70进一步旋转。在所示的实施例中,构件110从剂量标度夹持件76沿轴向延伸,并具有一倾斜的端面。零剂量位置由构件110的沿轴向延伸的边缘之一紧靠对应的止动件112来确定。

在本发明的另一个实施例中(图17),可以看到包括第二主壳体4’的驱动机构,该壳体具有第一端部和第二端部。容纳药品的药筒可安装在该第二主壳体4’的第一端部上,并被任何合适的装置保持。在所示的实施例中未示出药筒及其保持装置。该药筒可包含多种剂量的药品,并且通常还包含一个可移动的活塞。该活塞的移动使得药品可从该药筒经由针头(也未示出)排出。
在所示的实施例中,在该主壳体4’内设置有插入件16’。该插入件16’被固定,从而不能相对于第二主壳体4’进行旋转运动和轴向运动。插入件16’具有从中穿过的一带螺纹的圆形开口。可选择地,该插入件可与第二主壳体4’一体地形成。
在第二主壳体4’内还设置有一内部壳体154。该内部壳体154被固定,从而不能相对于第二主壳体4’进行旋转运动和轴向运动。内部壳体154具有一贯穿其长度的圆形开口,在该开口中形成多个纵向花键。螺旋螺纹150沿内部壳体154的外圆柱面延伸。可选择地,该内部壳体可与该第二主壳体4’和/或插入件16’一体地形成。
第一螺纹19’从活塞杆20’的第一端部延伸。该活塞杆20’的截面大致为圆形。活塞杆20’的第一端部穿过插入件16’中的带螺纹的开口,活塞杆20’的第一螺纹19’与插入件16’的螺纹相接合。压脚22’位于活塞杆20’的第一端部上。压脚22’设置成紧靠药筒活塞(未示出)。第二螺纹24’从活塞杆20’的第二端部延伸。第一螺纹19’和第二螺纹24’相反地设置。
驱动套管30’围绕活塞杆20’延伸。驱动套管30’通常为圆筒形。驱动套管30’在第一端部具有第一径向延伸的凸缘32’。沿驱动套管30’与第一凸缘32’相隔一定距离设置有第二径向延伸的凸缘34’。在驱动套管30’的外部部分上设置有外部螺旋螺纹(未示出)’该外部螺纹在第一凸缘32’和第二凸缘34’之间延伸。一内部螺旋螺纹沿驱动套管30’的内表面延伸。活塞杆20’的第二螺纹24’与驱动套管30’的内部螺旋螺纹相接合。
螺母40’位于驱动套管30’和内部壳体154之间,并设置在驱动套管30’的第一凸缘32’和第二凸缘34’之间。螺母40’可以是“对开螺母”或“全高螺母”。螺母40’具有与驱动套管30’的外部螺旋螺纹相接合的内部螺纹。螺母40’的外表面和内部壳体154的内表面通过纵向花键连接在一起,以防止螺母40’和内部壳体154之间发生相对旋转,同时允许它们之间发生相对纵向运动。
响声器50’和离合器60’围绕驱动套管30’设置,并位于驱动套管30’和内部壳体154之间。
响声器50’靠近驱动套管30’的第二凸缘34’设置。响声器50’包括至少一个弹簧元件(未示出)。响声器50’还包括一组设置成朝向该驱动机构的第二端部的具有三角形状的齿(未示出)。当被压缩时,该响声器50’的至少一个弹簧元件在驱动套管30’的凸缘34’和离合器60’之间施加轴向力。响声器50’的外表面和内部壳体154的内表面通过纵向花键连接在一起,以防止响声器50’和内部壳体154之间发生相对旋转,同时允许它们之间发生相对纵向运动。
离合器60’靠近驱动套管30’的第二端部设置。离合器60’大致为圆筒形,并且在其第一端部具有多个围绕圆周设置的三角形状的齿(未示出),该齿作用在响声器50’的齿上。朝向离合器60’的第二端部设有肩部158。离合器60’的肩部158设置在内部壳体154和剂量标度夹持件76’(下面将说明)的径向向内的凸缘之间。离合器60’的肩部158具有多个沿该驱动机构的第二端部的方向延伸的犬齿(未示出)。离合器60’通过花键(未示出)连接在驱动套管30’上,以防止离合器60’和驱动套管30’之间发生相对旋转。
剂量标度套管70’设置在内部壳体154外部,并从第二主壳体4’沿径向向内。在剂量标度套管70’的内表面上设置有螺旋螺纹。该剂量标度套管70’的螺旋螺纹与内部壳体154的螺旋螺纹150相接合。
第二主壳体4’具有一窗口(未示出),通过该窗口可看到剂量标度套管70’的外表面的一部分。方便地,在剂量标度套管70’的外表面上设有可用标度设定的剂量的可视标记例如参考数字(未示出)。方便地,第二主壳体4’的窗口仅允许看到目前被用标度设定的剂量。
剂量标度夹持件76’位于朝向该驱动机构的第二端部处。该剂量标度夹持件76’被固定,从而不能相对于该剂量标度套管70’进行旋转运动和轴向运动。剂量标度夹持件76’具有一沿径向向内的凸缘160。剂量标度夹持件76’的沿径向向内的凸缘160具有多个犬齿(未示出),该犬齿沿该驱动机构的第一端部的方向延伸以紧靠离合器60’的犬齿。剂量标度夹持件76’的犬齿与离合器60’的犬齿的接合和脱离接合可在剂量标度夹持件76’和离合器60’之间提供一可释放的离合器。
在该驱动机构的第二端部处设置有横截面大致为“T”形的按钮82’。按钮82’的圆柱形部件朝该驱动机构的第一端部延伸,穿过剂量标度夹持件76’内的开口并进入驱动套管30’的凹槽内。按钮82’的圆柱形部件被保持成可在驱动套管30’内进行有限的轴向运动并且不能相对于该驱动套管旋转。按钮82’的圆柱形部件具有沿径向延伸的凸出部(未示出),该凸出部紧靠离合器60’的肩部158的第二表面。按钮82’的第二端部大致为圆形,并且围绕其周向具有朝该驱动机构的第一端部向下延伸的圆筒形围缘(skirt)。按钮82’的围缘位于从剂量标度夹持件76’沿径向向内的位置。
下面将说明根据本发明的驱动机构的操作。
为了用标度设定一个剂量,使用者旋转该剂量标度夹持件76’。响声器50’的弹簧元件沿该驱动机构的第二端部的方向向离合器60’施加轴向力。响声器50’的弹簧元件施加的力使离合器60’的犬齿与剂量标度夹持件76’的犬齿相接合以便进行旋转。当剂量标度夹持件76’旋转时,相关联的剂量标度套管70’、驱动套管30’和离合器60’均一致地发生旋转。
通过响声器50’和离合器60’提供剂量被用标度设定的声音和触觉反馈。当离合器60’旋转时,从离合器60’的第一端部处的齿和响声器50’的齿传递力矩。响声器50’不能相对于内部壳体154旋转,由此响声器50’的至少一个弹簧元件变形,以允许离合器60’的齿越过响声器50’的齿而产生可听见的和可触知的“卡嗒声”。优选地,响声器50’的齿和离合器60’的齿设置成使得每个“卡嗒声”对应于药品或类似物的常规单位(剂量)。
剂量标度套管70’的螺旋螺纹和驱动套管30’的内部螺旋螺纹的导程相同。这使得剂量标度套管70’沿内部壳体154的螺纹150前进的速率与驱动套管30’沿活塞杆20’的第二螺纹24’前进的速率相同。由于活塞杆20’的第一螺纹19’与第二螺纹24’方向相反,因此可防止活塞杆20’旋转。活塞杆20’的第一螺纹19’与插入件16’的螺纹相接合,从而在用标度设定一个剂量时活塞杆20’不会相对于第二主壳体4’移动。
连接到该内部壳体154上的螺母40’由于驱动套管30’的旋转而沿驱动套管30’的外部螺纹前进。当使用者用标度设定的药品的量等于药筒可输送的量时,螺母40’到达一个位置,在该位置螺母40’紧靠驱动套管30’的第二凸缘34’。在螺母40’的第二表面上形成的径向止动件与驱动套管30’的第二凸缘34’的第一表面上的径向止动件接触,以便防止螺母40’和驱动套管30’进一步被旋转。
如果使用者无意间用标度设定的量大于所需剂量,则该驱动机构允许纠正该剂量而不用从药筒分配出药品。将剂量标度夹持件76’反向旋转。这使得该系统相反地工作。通过离合器60’传递的力矩使离合器60’的第一端部处的齿越过响声器50’的齿,以产生对应于减小用标度设定的剂量的卡嗒声。
当已用标度设定所需的剂量时,使用者随后可通过沿该驱动机构的第一端部的方向按下按钮82’来分配此剂量。按钮82’的凸出部向离合器60’的肩部158的第二表面施加压力,使离合器60’相对于剂量标度夹持件76’沿轴向移动。这使离合器60’的肩部158上的犬齿与剂量标度夹持件76’的犬齿脱离接合。但是,离合器60’仍保持与驱动套管30’连接,从而不能相对旋转。此时,剂量标度夹持件76’和相关联的剂量标度套管70’可自由旋转(由内部壳体154的螺旋螺纹150引导)。
离合器60’的轴向运动使响声器50’的弹簧元件变形,并且使离合器60’的第一端部处的齿与响声器50’的齿相接合,以便防止它们之间相对旋转。这样可防止驱动套管30’相对于内部壳体154旋转,但是该驱动套管仍可相对于该内部壳体沿轴向自由移动。
从而,施加在按钮82’上的压力使剂量标度夹持件76’和相关联的剂量标度套管70’旋转进入第二主壳体4’内。在此压力下,离合器60’、响声器50’和驱动套管30’沿该驱动机构的第一端部的方向轴向移动,但是它们并不旋转。驱动套管30’的轴向运动使活塞杆20’旋转通过插入件16’中的带螺纹的开口,从而使压脚22’前进。这样向活塞施加力,使得可从药筒排出药品。当剂量标度夹持件76’返回其紧靠第二主壳体4’的位置时,该选定的剂量被输送出来。
当从按钮82’除去压力时,利用响声器50’的弹簧元件的变形将离合器60’沿驱动套管30’推回,以使离合器60’的肩部158上的犬齿与剂量标度夹持件76’上的犬齿重新接合。从而该驱动机构被重置,以准备用标度设定随后的剂量。
示例3
参照图18-22,可见根据本发明的一给药装置。该给药装置包括一两分壳体2”,在该壳体内设置有容纳药品的药筒4”,用于设定或选定将被排出的药品的剂量的装置,以及用于排出该选定剂量的药品的装置。壳体2”的形状大致为圆筒形并容纳齿条6”,下文将更详细地说明该齿条。药筒4”位于壳体2”的第一部分8”内。该剂量设定装置和用于排出选定剂量的药品的装置被保持即限制在壳体2”的第二部分10”内。壳体2”的第一部分8”与壳体2”的第二部分10”可通过任何合适的装置固定在一起。
药筒4”可通过任何合适的装置固定在壳体2”的第一部分8”内的适当位置处。针组件可固定在药筒4”的第一端上。在附图中在此位置示出临时盖12”。药筒4”还包括可移动的活塞14”。使活塞10”朝药筒4”的第一端前进可使药品通过该针组件从药筒4”排出。可设置盖16”以便在该给药装置不使用时覆盖该针组件。盖16”可通过任何合适的装置可释放地固定在壳体2”上。
下面将更详细地说明剂量设定装置和用于排出选定剂量的药品的装置。齿条6”设置在位于壳体2”中的驱动套管18”内,并通过任何合适的装置相对于壳体2”轴向固定和旋转固定。驱动套管18”包括一内部带螺纹的部分20”,其基本沿该套管的整个内表面延伸。一内部齿轮22”位于驱动套管18”内,并具有与驱动套管18”的内部螺纹的节距相匹配的螺旋形齿。驱动套管18”的内部螺纹是多头螺纹,其导程等于剂量标度套管的螺旋螺纹的导程,下文将对该剂量标度套管进行说明。驱动套管18”的终端为一外部带螺纹的区段24”,其从该套管的端部一直延伸到从驱动套管18”凸出的外部圆周凸缘26”。一限制螺母28”被安装以便在套管14”的外部带螺纹的区段24”上旋转。该限制螺母28”通过多个纵向延伸的花键30”连接到壳体2”上,该花键沿壳体2”的第一部分8”的内表面延伸。在所示实施例中,限制螺母28”示出为对开螺母,但是也可使用全高螺母。
活塞杆32”设置成沿齿条6”的长度延伸并穿过齿条6”的端部内的孔。活塞杆32”大体是细长的,并且具有压脚34”。在使用时,压脚34”设置成紧靠药筒活塞14”。齿轮22”在轴颈轴承(未示出)中安装在远离压脚34”的活塞杆32”的端部上。
大致为圆筒形的剂量标度套管36”包括具有第一直径的第一部分38”和具有较大的第二直径的第二部分40”。该第一部分位于壳体2”内。

剂量标度套管36”的第一部分的外表面具有图案82”。该图案通常为一系列参考数字。壳体2”具有孔或窗口84”,通过该孔或窗口可看到代表由使用者选择的剂量值的图案的一部分。
可通过任何合适的方法将图案82”加到剂量标度套管36”上。图案82”可直接印制在剂量标度套管36”上,或设置成围绕剂量标度套管36”的印刷标签的形式。可选择地,图案的形式可以是夹在剂量标度套管36”上的带标记的套管。可通过任何合适的方式例如激光刺点来标记图案。
从驱动套管18”突出的外部圆周凸缘26”具有一对沿直径相对的通孔78”,该通孔的尺寸制成可接纳锁紧弹簧68”的对应的插销部分76”。从凸缘26”的外边缘突出的响声器突出部80”与每个通孔78”相关联。
在图18中,给药装置具有一装满的药筒4”。为了操作该给药装置,使用者必须首先选择一个剂量。为了设定剂量,使剂量标度套管36”相对于壳体2”旋转,直到通过窗口84”可见所需的剂量值。驱动套管18”连接在剂量标度套管36”上,并且在用标度设定期间以相同的速度旋出。在用标度设定一个剂量期间,锁紧弹簧68是直的,并朝剂量标度套管36”的端壁50”的内部推动剂量按钮56”沿轴向远离活塞杆32”和驱动套管18”,从而提供一离合器机构。因此,驱动套管18”在位于其内部的齿轮22”上方旋转。驱动套管18”和壳体2”之间的相对旋转使正在被用标度设定的剂量通过两个响声器突出部80”与花键30”的接合而生成声音确认,该花键沿壳体2”的第一部分8”的内表面延伸。
限制螺母28”与被设定的剂量成比例地沿驱动套管18”爬升。限制螺母28”的位置对应于药筒4”中剩余的药品的量,当驱动套管18”和壳体2”之间发生相对旋转时该限制螺母仅沿驱动套管18”的外部螺纹移动。
一旦已设定所需的剂量(例如,如图19所示),则为了输送该剂量,用户按下剂量按钮56”以抵抗锁紧弹簧68”而推动该按钮56”。随着剂量按钮56”压下弹簧68”,在剂量按钮56”与剂量标度套管36”之间的离合器脱离接合。从剂量按钮56”施加在剂量标度套管36”上的轴向力使剂量标度套管36”在剂量标度套管36”和壳体2”之间的螺旋螺纹上旋入壳体2”内。锁紧弹簧68”变形,且该弹簧的支脚使驱动套管18”沿轴向向下移动。锁紧弹簧68”的插销部分76”接合在位于从驱动套管18”突出的外部凸缘26”上的通孔78”内,并保持凸缘26”的响声器突出部80”与花键30”之间的凹槽的接合,从而将该驱动套管锁定在壳体2”上,并防止在分配剂量期间驱动套管18”相对于壳体2”旋转。因此,可防止驱动套管18”旋转,并且该驱动套管沿轴向移入,从而使齿轮22””相对于固定的齿条6”旋转。齿轮22”连同该齿轮安装于其上的活塞杆32”沿齿条6”移动一段距离,该距离等于驱动套管18”沿轴向移动的距离的一半,从而生成2∶1的机械利益。这样带来的双重好处之一是对于活塞14”在药筒4”内的给定行程,即对于将被分配的给定量的药品,可使剂量标度套管36”上的显示更大,第二个好处是使分配该剂量所需的力减半。
朝向给药装置的第一端驱动活塞杆32”穿过驱动套管18”,从而使药筒的活塞14”前进,并排出所需剂量的药品。活塞杆32”继续前进,直到驱动套管18”和剂量标度套管36”返回其初始位置(图20)。
可见,在选择剂量时剂量选择装置和剂量排出装置延伸到壳体2”的第二端之外,并当排出选定的剂量时返回壳体2”内。
需要时还可输送其它剂量。图21示出随后选择的剂量的示例。如上所述,限制螺母28”沿驱动套管18”的外部螺纹的位置对应于药筒4”中剩余的药品量,从而当螺母28”到达外部凸缘26”且不能进一步旋转时,这对应于药筒4”中没有剩余药品。可见,如果使用者打算选择的药品的量大于药筒4”中剩余的量,则这不能实现,因为当螺母28”停止相对于驱动套管18”的旋转时,驱动套管18”和壳体2”将锁定在一起,从而防止驱动套管18”和从而剂量标度套管36”旋转。这样可防止设定的剂量大于药筒4”中剩余的药品量。图22示出根据本发明的给药装置,其中已排出药筒4”中的全部药品。
所示出的根据本发明的装置的实施例还包括最大剂量设定止动件。当剂量标度套管36”被完全用标度设定时,驱动套管18”上的外部凸缘26”与壳体2”中的内部凸缘46”相接合。应看到,如果使用者试图设定的剂量超过最大剂量,则这不能实现。当驱动套管18”停止相对于壳体2”旋转时,也防止剂量标度套管旋转。外部凸缘44”和内部凸缘86”之间的作用向使用者表明已用标度设定最大剂量。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于给药装置的驱动机构,包括:
具有螺旋螺纹的壳体;
具有与所述壳体的螺旋螺纹相接合的螺旋螺纹的剂量标度套管;
可释放地连接到所述剂量标度套管的驱动套管;以及
位于该剂量标度套管和驱动套管之间的离合器装置;其特征在于,
a)当该剂量标度套管和驱动套管联接时,允许该剂量标度套管和驱动套管两者相对于该壳体旋转;以及
b)当该剂量标度套管和驱动套管断开联接时,允许该剂量标度套管相对于该壳体旋转,但不允许该驱动套管相对于该壳体旋转,其中允许该驱动套管进行轴向运动以便沿纵向方向将力传递到给药装置的近端。
2.根据权利要求1的驱动机构,其特征在于,该驱动机构包括活塞杆,该活塞杆适于穿过该壳体操作,并沿所述纵向方向将所述力传递到该给药装置的近端。
3.根据权利要求1的驱动机构,其特征在于,所述剂量标度套管还包括螺旋螺纹,该螺纹的导程与所述驱动套管的螺旋螺纹的导程相同。
4.根据权利要求2的驱动机构,其特征在于,所述活塞杆设计成附装有一齿轮,该齿轮设计成与该驱动套管的螺纹以及一齿条的齿相啮合,其中所述齿条固定在该壳体上。
5.根据权利要求1的驱动机构,其特征在于,所述壳体的螺旋螺纹是内部螺旋螺纹。
6.一种用于给药装置的组件,包含权利要求1所述的驱动机构。
7.一种给药装置,包含权利要求1所述的驱动机构或权利要求6所述的组件。
8.根据权利要求7的给药装置,其特征在于,该给药装置是笔型装置。
9.根据权利要求7的给药装置,其特征在于,该给药装置是注射器类型的装置。
10.根据权利要求7的给药装置,其特征在于,该给药装置包含针头。
