具体实施方式
根据本发明,涂层切削刀具刀片具有硬质合金本体,所述硬质合金本体具有以下组分:7.5-8.6wt%的Co,优选地7.7-8.4wt%的Co,最优选地7.8-8.3wt%的Co;总量为0.5-2.5wt%,优选地0.8-2.0wt%,最优选地1.0-1.6wt%的金属Ti、Nb和Ta;以及余量WC。Ti、Ta和/或Nb也可以被元素周期表的族IVb,Vb或者VIb中的其它元素替代。Ti的含量优选地处于相应于技术意义上杂质的水平。
在优选实施例中,Ta和Nb的重量浓度之间的比率在7.0-12.0的范围内,优选地7.6-11.4,最优选地8.2-10.5。
在可替代优选实施例中,Ta和Nb的重量浓度之间的比率在1.0-5.0的范围内,优选地1.5-4.5。
钴粘结相与钨中度到高度地合金化。W在粘结相中的含量可以被表达为S值=σ/16.1,其中σ是粘结相磁矩,单位为μTm3kg-1。S值依赖于钨在粘结相中的含量并且随着钨的含量降低而增加。因此,对于纯钴,或者碳饱和的硬质合金中的粘结剂,S=1,并且对于含有的W的量对应于η相形成的边界线的粘结相,S=0.78。
硬质合金本体具有在0.81-0.95,优选地0.82-0.93,最优选地0.85-0.90范围中的S值。
硬质合金具有12.0-15.5,优选地12.5-15.0kA/m,最优选地12.8-14.8kA/m的矫顽磁性(Hc)。
涂层包括:
-第一(最内)TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.5,更加优选地y>x并且z<0.2,最优选地y>0.7,具有等轴晶粒并且总厚度<1μm,优选地>0.1μm。
-TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.2,x>0.3并且y>0.2,最优选地x>0.4,厚度为1-5μm,优选地1.5-4.5μm,最优选地2-4μm,具有柱状晶粒。
-Al2O3层,由α-相构成。Al2O3层具有1-5μm,优选地1.5-4.5μm,并且最优选地2-4μm的厚度。
在优选实施例中,Al2O3层沿着(1014)方向具有强织构,织构系数TC(1014)大于1.2,优选地在1.4至4之间。
根据下面的公式确定用于氧化铝层的织构系数(TC):
TC ( hkil ) = I ( hkil ) I 0 ( hkil ) [ 1 n Σ n = 1 n I ( hkil ) I 0 ( hkil ) ] - 1
其中
I(hkil)=(hkil)反射的测量到的强度
Io(hkil)=根据JCPDS卡片号46-1212的标准强度
n=用于计算中的反射的数量
所使用的(hkil)反射为:(1012),(1014),(1120),(0006),(1123),(1126)。
因此,n=6并且织构系数最大值为6。
在可替代实施例中,Al2O3层沿着(0006)方向具有强织构,织构系数TC(0006)大于1.2,优选地在1.4至4.3之间。
在另一可替代实施例中,Al2O3层沿着(1012)方向具有强织构,织构系数TC(1012)大于2.5,优选地大于3,最优选地大于3.5。
在另外的可替代实施例中,在α-Al2O3层上存在薄的、小于1μm厚的TiN顶层。
本发明还涉及一种通过粉末冶金技术制造切削刀片的方法,其中湿润研磨形成硬质成分和粘结相的粉末,将研磨混合物压成具有所需形状和尺寸的本体并且烧结,并且所述本体包括硬质合金基片和涂层。根据该方法,基片具有以下组分:7.5-8.6wt%的Co,优选地7.7-8.4wt%的Co,最优选地7.8-8.3wt%的Co;总量为0.5-2.5wt%,优选地0.8-2.0wt%,最优选地1.0-1.6wt%的金属Ti、Nb和Ta;和余量WC。Ti、Ta和/或Nb也可以被元素周期表的族IVb、Vb或者VIb中的其它元素替代。Ti的含量优选地处于相应于技术意义上杂质的水平。
在优选实施例中,Ta和Nb的重量浓度之间的比率在7.0-12.0范围内,优选地7.6-11.4,最优选地8.2-10.5。
在可替代优选实施例中,Ta和Nb的重量浓度之间的比率在1.0-5.0的范围内,优选地1.5-4.5。
矫顽磁性依赖于初始粉末的颗粒尺寸以及研磨和烧结条件并且需要通过试验确定。所需S值依赖于初始粉末和烧结条件并且也需要通过试验确定。
在基片上沉积以下层
-根据已知技术,沉积第一(最内)TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.5,更加优选地y>x并且z<0.2,最优选地y>0.7,具有等轴晶粒并且总厚度<1μm,优选地>0.1μm。
-在700-950℃的温度范围中使用乙腈作为用于形成层的碳和氮的源,利用MTCVD技术将具有柱状晶粒的TiCxNyOz层沉积到硬质合金上,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.2,x>0.3并且y>0.2,最优选地x>0.4,厚度为1-5μm,优选地1.5-4.5μm,最优选地2-4μm,以及
-根据已知技术,沉积Al2O3层,其由α-相构成,具有1-5μm,优选地1.5-4.5μm,并且最优选地2-4μm的厚度。
在可替代实施例中,使用已知技术在α-Al2O3层上沉积薄的、小于1μm的TiN顶层。
在另外的优选实施例中,在涂覆之后利用湿喷砂或者刷拭操作处理如上所述的切削刀具刀片,从而改进涂层刀具的表面质量。
本发明也涉及上述的切削刀具的用途,所述切削刀具用于在100-500m/分钟,优选地150-450m/分钟的切削速度下对钢进行湿或者干铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.08-0.55mm,优选地0.1-0.45mm;或者在50-300m/分钟,优选地75-250m/分钟的切削速度下对淬硬钢进行湿或者干铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.05-0.4mm,优选地0.8-0.35mm;或者在75-500m/分钟,优选地100-400m/分钟的切削速度下利用高进给铣削刀具对工具钢进行仿形铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.3-3.0mm。
实例1
等级A:通过传统的粉末研磨、压制生坯并且随后在1430°下进行烧结而生产出根据本发明的硬质合金基片,其组分为:8.1wt%的Co、1.0wt%的Ta、0.2wt%的Nb和余量WC,其中,粘结相与W合金化,相应于S值为0.88。硬质合金的Hc数值为13.9kA/m,这示意大约0.7μm的平均截距长度。基片涂覆有具有等轴晶粒的0.1μm厚的TiN层、利用乙腈作为碳和氮的源(其中,大致产生x/y=1.5的碳氮比率,且z<0.1)在835-850℃下沉积的3.1μm厚的柱状TiCxNyOz层、以及在大约1000℃下沉积的3.0μm厚的α-Al2O3层。X射线衍射表明α-Al2O3层具有2.1的TC(1014)。在涂覆之后利用湿喷砂操作处理切削刀具刀片。图1示出涂层硬质合金的断裂截面的20000倍扫描电子显微图像。
等级B:根据等级A的硬质合金基片与使用乙腈作为碳和氮的源(其大致产生x/y=1.5的碳氮比率)在835-850℃下沉积的4.1μm厚的柱状TiCxNyOz、1.6μm厚的-Al2O3层和薄的TiN层相结合。
在工具钢的端面铣削操作中测试等级A和B。

实例2
等级C:具有如下基片的(其组分为:8.0wt%的Co,1.0wt%的Ta,0.1wt%的Nb和余量WC,且具有与相应于0.90的S值和15.5kA/m的Hc数值的W合金化的粘结相)根据EP1347076的等级与由3.4μm厚的TixAlyN(x/y=0.55)层构成的涂层相结合,随后是0.2μm厚的TiN层。
在对钢制的方形肩台铣削操作中测试等级A、B和C。

Claims (8)

1.一种切削刀具刀片,包括硬质合金本体和涂层,并且特别用于在高切削速度下对钢进行湿铣削或者干铣削、对淬硬钢进行铣削以及对工具钢进行高进给量仿形铣削,其特征在于,所述本体具有以下组分:7.5-8.6wt%的Co,优选地7.7-8.4wt%的Co;总量为0.5-2.5wt%,优选地0.8-2.0wt%的金属Ti、Nb和Ta,以及余量WC,并且具有12.0-15.5kA/m,优选地12.5-15.0kA/m的矫顽磁性;相应于0.81-0.95,优选地0.82-0.93的S值的与W合金化的粘结相,并且所述涂层包括,
-第一(最内)TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.5,更加优选地y>x并且z<0.2,具有等轴晶粒并且总厚度<1μm,优选地>0.1μm;
-TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.2,x>0.3并且y>0.2,最优选地x>0.4,并且厚度为1-5μm,优选地为1.5-4.5μm,具有柱状晶粒;
-Al2O3层,由α-相构成,并且厚度为1-5μm,优选地为1.5-4.5μm。
2.根据权利要求1的切削刀具刀片,其特征在于,Al2O3层在(1014)方向上具有强织构,织构系数TC(1014)大于1.2,优选地在1.4至4之间,或者在(0006)方向上具有强织构,织构系数TC(0006)大于1.2,优选地在1.4至4.3之间,或者在(1012)方向上具有强织构,织构系数TC(1012)大于2.5,优选地大于3,最优选地大于3.5,
根据下面的公式确定织构系数(TC):

5.根据前述权利要求中任一项的切削刀具刀片,其特征在于,Ti含量处于技术意义上的杂质的水平。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项的切削刀具刀片,其特征在于,在α-Al2O3层上具有薄的TiN顶层。
7.一种制造包括硬质合金本体和涂层的切削刀具刀片的方法,其特征在于以下步骤,
-通过传统粉末冶金技术制备硬质合金本体,其组分为:7.5-8.6wt%的Co,优选地7.7-8.4wt%的Co;总量为0.5-2.5wt%,优选地0.8-2.0wt%的金属Ti、Nb和Ta;以及余量WC,并且其具有12.0-15.5kA/m,优选地12.5-15.0kA/m的矫顽磁性;相应于0.81-0.95,优选地0.82-0.93的S值的与W合金化的粘结相,以及
-将硬质合金本体涂覆以下的层:
-使用已知CVD-技术涂覆的第一(最内)TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.5,更加优选地y>x并且z<0.2,具有等轴晶粒并且总厚度<1μm,优选地>0.1μm;
-在700-950℃的温度范围中,使用乙腈作为用于形成层的碳和氮的源,使用MTCVD技术涂覆的TiCxNyOz层,其中0.7≤x+y+z≤1,优选地z<0.2,x>0.3并且y>0.2,最优选地x>0.4,并且厚度为1-5μm,优选地为1.5-4.5μm,并具有柱状晶粒,以及,
-使用已知CVD技术涂覆的Al2O3层,它由α-相构成,厚度为1-5μm,优选地为1.5-4.5μm;
-可能地使用已知技术,在α-Al2O3层上沉积的薄的TiN顶层。
8.根据权利要求1-5的切削刀具刀片的用途,所述切削刀具刀片用于在100-500m/分钟,优选地150-450m/分钟的切削速度下对钢进行湿铣削或者干铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.08-0.55mm,优选地0.1-0.45mm;或者在50-300m/分钟,优选地75-250m/分钟的切削速度下对淬硬钢进行湿铣削或者干铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.05-0.4mm,优选地0.8-0.35mm;或者在75-500m/分钟,优选地100-400m/分钟的切削速度下利用高进给量铣削刀具进行仿形铣削,其中根据切削速度和刀片几何形状,每齿平均进给量为0.3-3.0mm。
