用于分析组织愈合的一个实施方式可包括捕获包括组织部位和参考颜色标记物的图像。可根据参考颜色标记物的图像的至少一部分来调节至少一个图像参数,以标准化图像的颜色。可对临床医师显示颜色标准化的图像。 
在本发明的用于分析组织愈合的方法中,调节步骤可包括改变参考颜色标记物的图像的至少一部分的颜色,以实质上匹配预定的颜色,从而以与改变参考颜色标记物的图像的颜色相同的方式改变组织部位的图像的 颜色。

在本发明的用于分析组织愈合的方法中捕获包括参考颜色标记物的图像的步骤可包括捕获白色参考颜色标记物的图像。 
用于分析组织愈合的另一个实施方式可包括捕获包括组织部位的图像。使临床医师能够限定组织部位的图像的多个区域,其中图像的限定组织类型的区域中的至少两个区域处于不同的组织愈合阶段。计算并为临床医师显示图像的限定处于不同的组织愈合阶段的组织类型的至少两个区域中的每个区域的面积。参考颜色标记物可用于提供组织部位的图像的颜色标准化。

参考图1A,示例性的患者环境显示了具有组织部位104的患者102使用根据本发明的原理的组织治疗系统106。在一个实施方式中,组织治疗系统106可为真空辅助的治疗设备。可选地,组织治疗系统106可为通常用于在组织治疗例如伤口愈合的过程中帮助患者的任何系统。组织治疗系统106还可为任何计算系统,其配置成利用这里进一步描述的软件来帮助照顾者或临床医师监控组织部位104的愈合。

颜色参考标记物108是组织治疗系统106用于标准化组织部位104的 图像的颜色的设备。除了组织治疗系统106所使用的用于标准化组织部位的颜色的颜色外,颜色参考标记物108可实际上为任何颜色。例如,颜色参考标记物108可为白色、黑色、灰度级(grayscale)、全色调调色系统(PMS)专色(spot color)、双色、四色或任何其它颜色组合。术语“颜色”在这里用来指任何颜色或任何标度(例如灰度级)的任何色调(shade)。此外,颜色参考标记物108可为纸、塑料或任何其它材料。在一个实施方式中,颜色参考标记物108为消过毒的材料,以避免感染组织部位104。颜色参考标记物108可进一步包括一侧上的粘合剂,以使临床医师能够将颜色参考标记物108粘附到患者102或粘附到组织部位104通过图像捕获设备110的视野内的物体。可选地,临床医师可使用胶带或其它临时紧固件来将颜色参考标记物108定位在组织部位104处或附近。 
为了使组织部位104的图像的颜色标准化,组织治疗系统106可输入或否则接收由图像捕获设备110捕获的组织部位104和颜色参考标记物108的图像。电子显示器114可用于显示组织部位104’和颜色参考标记物108’的图像116。在一个实施方式中,电子显示器114是触敏电子显示器,其响应于指示笔(未示出)或手指来使临床医师能够与显示在电子显示器114上的图像和控制交互作用。 
软按钮118a-118n或其它图形控制元件可布置在电子显示器114上,以使临床医师能够输入模式、编辑图像或执行如开发者可定义的且由组织治疗系统106执行的任何其它控制。例如,软按钮118a可使用户能够通过将颜色参考标记物108’修正到预定颜色来标准化图像116。另一软按钮118b可使组织治疗系统106进入组织跟踪模式(tissue trace mode),以使临床医师能够跟踪伤口或其它组织部位的周界,从而限定组织部位。另一软按钮118c可使组织治疗系统106进入组织类型跟踪模式(tissue type tracemode),其中临床医师能够通过在不同组织类型的周界处跟踪或应用标记来限定或否则识别组织部位104的各种组织类型(例如焦痂组织)。另一软按钮118n可提供图像的放大和缩小。另一软按钮可使图像能够保存到组织治疗系统106上的图像数据库。应理解,可在组织治疗系统106上设置使临床医师能够收集、处理、编辑、限定组织类型等的任何功能。 
参考图1B,示出了患者102的组织部位104和用于标准化组织部位的图像的颜色参考标记物108。颜色参考标记物108被示为白色的。然而,如前所述,颜色参考标记物108可为任何颜色。组织部位104被示为具有各种组织类型。例如,伤口边缘或创周皮肤120可为粉红/白色并限定组织部位104,肉芽组织122可为红/深粉色,具有崎岖不平的潮湿外观,坏死组织124在颜色上可为黑/褐并且硬,而脱落组织126在颜色上可为黄/白并且松弛。应理解,可通过颜色或纹理识别在伤口或组织愈合期间出现的其它组织类型。通过将颜色参考标记物108包括在组织部位104的图像中,对颜色参考标记物108的图像的调节可以调节待标准化的组织部位的图像的颜色。 
组织治疗系统106可配置成根据参考颜色标记物108的被收集的图像的至少一部分来对整个图像执行颜色调节。参考颜色标记物108可为预先限定或预定的颜色,且图像的调节可包括改变参考颜色标记物108的图像,直到图像实质上匹配预定颜色。与预定颜色实质上匹配可以是指每个颜色分量在相应的颜色分量的预定颜色百分数值(predetermined colorpercentage value)的1%内,例如如果使用RGB颜色方案,则为红18%+/-1%,绿27%+/-1%,以及蓝40%+/-1%。可选地,与预定颜色实质上匹配可以是指颜色分量所形成的总颜色在预定颜色的3%内(比如,如果使用四色颜色PMS颜色方案,则为PMS专色,例如蓝PMS-300)。可校准组织治疗系统106,以便当参考颜色标记物108的图像被调节成实质上匹配预定颜色(例如纯白色)的颜色时,组织部位104的图像被标准化。如在本领域中所理解的,可以按各种方式来执行颜色的调节。根据本发明的原理,颜色的调节可包括改变亮度、对比度、色调、饱和度、颜色平衡、颜色等级或改变参考颜色标记物108的图像的任何其它调节。例如,如果参考颜色标记物108是白色,则白平衡,白平衡是移除颜色的过程,以便物体例如真白(true white)的参考颜色标记物108在图像中显示真白。如果使用例如白炽光来照亮伤口,则可能是白色的参考颜色标记物108捕获白炽光,且白炽光产生的颜色被从参考颜色标记物108的图像移除,直到参考颜色标记物108的图像是在预定容差内的白色。参考颜色标记物108的颜色调节可应用于组织部位的图像,从而标准化组织部位的颜色。通过标准化组 织部位的颜色,可能会随时间、房间、设施等变化的照明条件被排除了。 
参考图2,示出了用于产生图像并限定和标准化组织部位颜色的示例性处理系统200。处理系统200可包括执行软件204的处理单元202。处理单元202可配置有相同或不同类型的一个或多个处理器。例如,处理单元202可包括一般处理单元和数字信号处理单元,其配置成执行图像处理,以根据本发明的原理执行颜色调节。 
处理单元202可进一步与下列部件通信:(i)用于存储数据和软件代码的存储器206,(ii)用于无线地、通过导线或通过存储器输入设备(未示出)与诸如数码相机的其它设备和系统通信的输入/输出(I/O)单元208,(iii)可储存一个或多个数据储存库212a-212n(总称为212)的存储单元210,例如具有一个或多个文件的数据库,以及(iv)可以是或可以不是触敏的电子显示器214。软件204可配置成与每个其它设备(例如电子显示器214)通过界面连接以例如执行组织部位图像收集,并通过调节参考颜色标记物的图像的颜色来调节组织部位的图像的颜色。 
现在参考图3,可由处理单元202(图2)执行的软件204(图2)的软件模块300可用于根据本发明的原理来执行伤口限定和颜色调节功能。所示软件模块300是示例性的,并可包括提供相同或类似功能的额外的和/或其它的软件模块。 
限定组织部位模块(define tissue site module)302是这样一种软件模块,其可配置成使临床医师能够使用触敏电子显示器或定位设备(例如计算机鼠标)来显示组织部位的图像和跟踪或识别组织部位的周界上的连续位置,并估计该周界的在周界上每个连续位置之间的迹线。迹线或被估计的迹线内的区域限定组织部位,组织部位在一个实施方式中可能是伤口。

标准化组织部位颜色模块(normalize tissue site color module)306是这样一种模块,其可配置成根据对参考颜色标记物的至少一部分的颜色调节来标准化组织部位的图像的颜色,以实质上匹配预定颜色,如前面在此所述的。 
产生轮廓模块(generate outline module)308是这样一种软件模块,其可配置成根据临床医师选择的位置来在组织部位内产生组织部位或组织区域的轮廓,以限定组织部位或组织区域。如果临床医师执行跟踪,则也可使用产生轮廓模块308,但在较小的程度上,且可选地确定点或使迹线平滑。 
识别组织部位区域模块(identify tissue site regions module)310是这样一种软件模块,其可配置成产生曲线(即,可具有直线或弯曲部分的线)来加亮或否则限定组织区域。此外,识别组织部位区域模块310可用于产生图形图像,例如实颜色,其为不透明或透明的,以给临床医师显示组织部位区域的面积。在一个实施方式中,不同的颜色、图案或其它图形图像可用于识别不同的组织类型(例如,具有褐色或黑色图形图像的坏死组织相对于具有红色图形图像的肉芽组织)。 
计算组织部位区域面积模块(compute tissue site regions area module)312是这样一种软件模块,其可配置成计算相同或不同的组织类型的一个或多个组织部位区域的面积。通过确定组织部位区域的面积,临床医师可监控组织部位随时间的愈合或治疗进展。在一个实施方式中,软件可使组织部位深度能够被输入,且模块312可产生组织部位体积值。组织部位面 积和/或体积连同组织部位和组织部位区域的图像一起可显示在电子显示器上,可选地在组织部位区域内。 
管理组织部位图像数据库模块(manage tissue site image databasemodule)314是这样一种软件模块,其配置成将组织部位图像储存在一个或多个数据库中。模块314可配置成按日期、按组织类型(例如伤口)、按治疗标识符、按临床医师或按任何其它标识符来存储与患者相关的图像。模块314可分开地储存来自迹线、组织部位的图像上或覆盖该图像的图形图像、所计算的组织部位面积和体积、日期和时间信息或除了图像的任何其它信息的每个被捕获的图像,以便临床医师可在没有其它任何信息的情况下取回原始组织部位图像,并且可储存与组织部位图像相关的其它信息,以便可同时或分开地取回该信息。在一个实施方式中,与组织部位图像相关的信息可以以表或其它格式储存,以使临床医师能够执行搜索、分类、制表或任何其它数据库功能。模块314还可储存原始和颜色标准化组织部位图像。 
参考图4,显示了用于执行颜色调节功能以标准化组织部位的颜色的过程400。过程400以步骤402和步骤404开始,且包括组织部位和参考颜色标记物的图像可被捕获。参考颜色标记物可为任何颜色例如白色,并可用于在组织部位的图像被捕获到时标准化组织部位的颜色,以补偿照明。在步骤406,可根据参考颜色标记物的图像的至少一部分来调节一个或多个图像参数,以标准化图像的颜色。调节可为任何颜色调节,以使参考颜色标记物的图像在范围或容差内或实质上匹配预定的颜色容差(例如,任何颜色分量的纯白(即,在0%的黄色、青色、品红色和黑色值)+/-1%)。根据本发明的原理可利用其它范围百分数。通过调节组织部位的图像(或图像的部分),组织部位可被颜色标准化,以在捕获组织部位的图像的房间内移除照明条件。在步骤408,颜色标准化组织部位图像被显示给临床医师。过程在步骤410结束。在一个实施方式中,临床医师可使用颜色标准化组织部位图像以通过在组织部位的外周周围描绘迹线来限定组织部位。可选地,定位组织部位的不同颜色或纹理之间的边缘的软件模块可估计组织部位的外周。在调节颜色时,可使用一种或多种不同的图 像修正技术来调节颜色,包括白平衡,对色调、亮度的调节,或在本领域中所理解的其它颜色调节功能。 
参考图5,示出了用于分析组织愈合的过程500。过程500在步骤502开始。在步骤504,可捕获包括组织部位的图像。在步骤506,可使临床医师能够限定组织部位的图像的多个区域,其中图像的限定组织类型的至少两个区域处于组织愈合的不同阶段。可在步骤508计算图像的限定处于不同的组织愈合阶段的组织类型的每个区域的面积。在步骤510可显示被计算的面积。过程在步骤512结束。参考颜色标记物可用于提供组织部位的图像的颜色标准化。

Claims (10)

1.一种根据伤口组织部位的图像确定伤口组织类型的系统,所述系统包括:
图像捕获设备;
预定颜色的参考颜色标记物;
处理单元,其与所述图像捕获设备通信,并配置成:
从所述图像捕获设备接收图像数据,所述图像数据包括伤口组织部位和所述参考颜色标记物的图像;
根据所述参考颜色标记物的图像的至少一部分来调节至少一个图像参数,以标准化所述图像数据;
对所述伤口组织部位的被调节了颜色的图像的颜色与限定处于某一伤口组织愈合阶段内的伤口组织类型的颜色范围进行比较;
确定处于所述伤口组织愈合阶段内的伤口组织类型的面积;
对多个伤口组织愈合阶段进行重复比较和确定;以及
基于颜色比较识别伤口组织部位的处于相同愈合阶段的伤口组织。
2.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述处理单元在调节所述至少一个图像参数时改变所述参考颜色标记物的图像的所述至少一部分的颜色,以实质上匹配预定的颜色,其中所述处理单元进一步配置成以与改变所述参考颜色标记物的图像的颜色相同的方式来改变伤口组织部位的图像的颜色。
3.如权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述处理单元进一步配置成:
使临床医师能够识别伤口组织部位的处于某一伤口组织愈合阶段内的至少一个区域。
4.如权利要求3所述的系统,其中所述伤口组织部位的所述至少一个区域限定坏死组织、肉芽组织或脱落组织。
5.如权利要求3所述的系统,其中所述处理单元进一步配置成计算所述伤口组织部位的所述至少一个区域的面积。
6.如权利要求5所述的系统,其进一步包括电子显示器,其中所述处理单元进一步配置成在所述电子显示器上显示所述伤口组织部位,并识别所述伤口组织部位的处于所述伤口组织愈合阶段内的所述至少一个区域。
7.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述参考颜色标记物是卡。
8.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述参考颜色标记物是白色的。
9.如权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述至少一个图像参数包括白平衡图像参数。
10.如权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述处理单元进一步配置成:
对所述伤口组织部位的被调节了颜色的图像的颜色与限定处于第二伤口组织愈合阶段内的伤口组织类型的第二颜色范围进行比较;以及
确定处于所述第二伤口组织愈合阶段内的所述伤口组织的面积。
