Abstract

本发明公开了一种电连接器,包括若干导电端子、上本体及下本体,每一导电端子分别包括一上端子及一下端子,上端子具有一保持部及对接部,下端子设有可与上端子的对接部配合的两对接臂;上本体设有若干收容槽以收容上端子,下本体位于上本体下方且对应若干收容槽设有若干通孔以收容下端子;其中当上端子于外力作用下沿自上至下方向朝向下端子移动时,两对接臂发生弹性变形且将上端子的对接部夹持。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器器,尤其涉及一种用来连接一芯片模块的电连接器。
【背景技术】
传统LGA型电连接器广泛地用于电性连接芯片模块至印刷电路板,可参考美国专利公告7044746号。
随着社会的不断发展,人们对芯片模块的性能提出了更高的要求,相应地与芯片模块配合使用的电连接器亦要求具备更高的传输性能,进而电连接器需要满足小型化和多接点的发展趋势。其中一种解决方案为缩小电连接器的导电端子的体积。然而,上述方式容易导致导电端子的弹性不足,进而导致电性连接不够稳定。
鉴于此,确有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服前述电连接器存在的缺陷。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种能够满足小型化和多接点的发展趋势的电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供一种电连接器,包括若干导电端子、上本体及下本体,每一导电端子分别包括一上端子及一下端子,上端子具有一保持部及对接部,下端子设有可与上端子的对接部配合的两对接臂;上本体设有若干收容槽以收容上端子,下本体是位于上本体下方,对应若干收容槽设有若干通孔以收容下端子;其中当上端子于外力作用下沿自上至下方向朝向下端子移动时,两对接臂发生弹性变形且将上端子的对接部夹持。
与相关技术相比,本发明的电连接器具有以下优点:导电端子结构简单,占用本体空间小,上、下端子间能够方便地达成接触,进而能与外部电子组件达成有效电性接触,能满足小型化和多接点的发展趋势。
另外,根据本发明更具体的实施方式,于自上至下方向上,两对接臂分别向下延伸且逐渐靠拢,进而两对接臂形成一通道,该通道于自上至下方向上逐渐减小。
根据本发明更具体的实施方式,所述上端子还设有自保持部向上延伸出上本体的上表面的接触部;所述下端子设有主体部及位于主体部顶端的弯曲部,所述两对接臂是自弯曲部延伸而出。
另外,所述两对接臂是对称设置,所述两对接臂分别自弯曲部两自由端垂直向下延伸而出。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图8所示,本发明的电连接器1包括上本体10、下本体12及若干导电端子14。
导电端子14包括上端子140和下端子142。下本体12设有若干通孔120以收容下端子142,上本体10设有若干收容槽100以收容上端子140。上本体10设有一上表面102及若干自上表面102向上延伸的侧壁104,上表面102可承接芯片模块(未图示)且与侧壁104共同围成收容空间将芯片模块收容于其中。
上端子140设有一可防止上端子140从上本体10中脱离的保持部1400、自保持部1400上端延伸出的接触部1402及一自保持部1400下端延伸出的对接部1404。上端子140容置于上本体10中时,接触部1402延伸出上本体10的上表面102。
下端子142包括一延伸于垂直方向上的主体部1420、一位于主体部1420顶端的U型的弯曲部1422及一自主体部1420下端延伸的安装部1424。
请参考图4及图5,弯曲部1422具有两间隔设置的自由端,两对接臂1426、1428分别自两自由端向下延伸而出。垂直方向及自上至下方向上,请参考图8中箭头F所示方向,对接臂1426、1428各自延伸且互相靠拢。换言之,对接臂1426、1428之间限定了一可收容上端子140的对接部1404的通道1429,且自上至下方向上,所述通道1429的宽度逐渐减小。另外,对接臂1426、1428是对称设置。
安装部1424及两对接臂1426、1428是位于主体部1420的同一侧,安装部1424具有一个水平方向上延伸的平坦部以与锡球16配合,由此,通孔120于水平方向尺寸不需很大。另外,两对接臂1426、1428长度较小。安装部1424位于两对接臂1426、1428下方,具体地讲,安装部1424自主体部1420下端上对应弯曲部1422一自由端的位置伸出,且朝向弯曲部1422另一自由端所在一侧沿水平延伸。
请参考图6至图8,显示了上端子140和下端子142达成配合的过程。当上端子140于外力F作用下朝向下端子142靠拢时,由于通道1429是逐渐缩小,两对接臂1426、1428将分别对对接部1404产生一作用力A和B。如图8所示,作用力A和B的方向是倾斜向上,其与垂直方向形成一夹角。由此,对接部1404被两对接臂1426、1428夹持,上端子140和下端子142之间达成机械和电性接触。
如前文所述,本发明电连接器1的导电端子14结构简单,占用本体空间小且仍能保持稳定电性接触,适应电连接器小型化和多接点的发展趋势。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,包括若干导电端子、上本体及下本体,每一导电端子分别包括一上端子及一下端子,上端子具有一保持部及对接部,下端子设有可与上端子的对接部配合的两对接臂;上本体设有若干收容槽以收容上端子,下本体位于上本体下方且对应若干收容槽设有若干通孔以收容下端子,其特征在于:当上端子于外力作用下沿自上至下方向朝向下端子移动时,两对接臂发生弹性变形且将上端子的对接部夹持。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:于自上至下方向上,两对接臂分别向下延伸且逐渐靠拢。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两对接臂形成一通道,该通道于自上至下方向上逐渐减小。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述上端子还设有自保持部向上延伸出上本体的上表面的接触部。
5.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述下端子设有主体部及位于主体部顶端的弯曲部,所述两对接臂是自弯曲部延伸而出。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两对接臂是对称设置。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述两对接臂分别自弯曲部两自由端垂直向下延伸而出。
