Abstract

Description

防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装以及单独的药盒
本申请是1990年10月5日递交的序列号为597,644的待审查申请的部分继续申请。
许多药物如被儿童服用或被儿童过量服用都是很危险的。为防止偶然接触药盒的儿童误服药物，期望能设计出可防止儿童打开的药盒。
还有一个期望是提供一种简单的、容易由成年人、手工匠人、以及略有手工技巧的人使用的药盒，尤其是其中不存在儿童偶然误服药物的任何危险。
一种防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装包括一个具有多个槽的纵向部件，每个槽适合容纳一个单剂量药物，在填充了一个可剥离的密封后将每一个槽密封起来，还包括一个用于盒部件的盖，需要打开一个隐蔽的快速锁紧装置，并且从盒部件处手动抬起该盖以暴露出这些槽。在另一个实施例中，没有为盒部件提供这种盖。

本发明涉及一种防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，具体地说涉及一种具有隐蔽的锁紧装置的药物包装，需要采取两个步骤才能露出存有药物的槽。
本发明还涉及一种没有锁紧盖、因此使用简单容易的药盒。
从下面结合附图的描述，将使本发明的单剂量药物包装和药盒变得更加清楚。在附图中，相同的参考标号代表相同的部件。
按照本发明，防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装包括具有底面11、两个侧面12和13的一个盒部件10。给盒部件10提供多个槽或室14。每个室或槽容纳一个药片15、胶囊、药粒(caplet)、或单剂量药物的类似物。用一个保护条16，例如铝箔、可热密封叠层片，盖住这些槽，该保护条16是通过热密封粘结到盒部件10的顶部表面17上的，并且可以很轻易地剥离下来以便露出药物。保护条16上设有凸片18和标记19，以便于通过拉起凸片打开一个个槽。
盒部件10还设有盖20，盖20沿几乎全部盒部件10的长度方向延伸，并且通过铰接装置21固定到盒部件10上。盖20具有顶部22和侧壁23与24，当盖20合上时，盖20的侧壁23与24分别重叠在盒部件10的侧壁13和12上。在盖20的前端还设有一个向下突出的壁25，壁25与盒部件10的前壁26啮接配合。壁25和26协同作用，形成了一个隐蔽的锁紧装置34。在所示的实施例中，通过在壁25内表面的底部设置凸缘27，让凸缘27与设置在壁26外表面上的凸缘28啮接，从而即构成了该锁紧装置34，可使锁紧盖20配合到盒部件10上。当合上盖包装，即将该锁紧装置隐蔽了起来。
在盖20的顶部22上设有狭长的切缝29和30，切缝29和30自盖20的前部边缘向内，并且到达铰接端处终止。还要为顶部22提供一个或多个前加强凸缘31和后加强凸缘32。在两个凸缘31和32之间的区域33没有加强凸缘。当合上包装时，顶部22的下部的不均匀性、或者区域33的存在就都看不到了。由于存在区域33，以及存在切缝29和33，使作用在区域33上的压力(如图2所示)能够松开相互锁住的凸缘27和28。但由于盖20的壁25、26分别和盒部件10之间，以及盒部件10的侧壁12、13和盖20的侧壁23、24之间都是摩擦配合的，因此盖20尚不能自盒部件10上移开。若想打开该包装，还必须如图3所示握住盒部件10和盖20的前端将它们拉开。
在另一个实施例中，本发明的药盒没有设置锁紧盖，如图7所示。由图7可见，该实施例的药盒10具有一个细长的、一般呈长方形的主体，该主体具有两个相对的、向上突出的端壁35、36，端壁35、36带有明显的平面表面。即，端壁35、36没有携带如图1-6实施例所示的凸缘27和铰接装置21。
一个凸台37从顶部平面形表面17开始向上伸出并且包围着每一个室或槽19的周边。通过设置凸台37，把热密封叠层箔16加到盒10上的几个缺点都克服了，或者减低到最低限度，并且还便利于随后的凸片18的去除。
例如，由典型的塑料模注操作产生的物品具有在观察者看来似乎是“平直”的表面，但这些表面都是起伏不平的，不是真正平直的。这些起伏不平来源于大多数塑料模注操作中固有的、数值不大的温度涨落。因此，叠层箔16覆盖槽14的热密封可能是一种不均匀的密封。如果这种不均匀密封存在于槽14上或靠近槽14，单剂量药片15就可能暴露至可能会引起伤害的周围大气或环境，这可能破坏药片15的完整性。
通过设置凸台37，由于铝箔叠层条16是热粘合到凸台37的上表面上的，因此将这种不均匀性彻底消除或减至最小。因为凸台37的上表面上的表面接触面积大大地减少了，就保证了铝箔盖条16在每个槽14上的整体粘结，从而保持了单剂量药片15的完整性。随着凸台37的上表面面积的减少，热密封“停留时间”也大大地减少了，从而提高了生产率，降低了成本。
凸台37还给用户带来一个附加的好处，因为在凸台37的上表面和保护盖条16之间的粘结面积大大地减少了，所以用户若除去保护盖条16更容易，所需的力和努力都较小。
为了使除去保护盖条16的操作更加便利，至少靠近凸片18的凸台37的这部分最好是延长弓形形状。这将使用户抓住凸片18除去保护条16的操作作更加容易。
这种优选的特征示于图8，由图8可以看出，在靠近侧壁12和13的凸台37的这些部分制成在点39处终止的延长的弓形38。在该实施例中，所示的凸台37的几何形状为六边形。但凸台37的几何形状并非关键，它们也可以具有其它的几何形状，例如如图10所示的卵形和椭圆形，其中的凸台37的延长的弓形38在低些的钝端40处终止。
这些凸台37也可以设置在上述如图1-6所示的防儿童误服的药物包装中，如图6中的剖视图所示。
如图7-10所示的本发明的药盒实施例已经表示为细长的、大致呈长方形主体(或“药棍”)的形式。但本发明的药盒也可以具有其它的几何形状或形式，例如如图11和12所示的“环形”或“手镯”形式。如图11所示，该药盒具有一个第一圆带或内圆带41，以及一个与内圆带41分开的、并且与内圆带41基本上对中的第二圆带或外圆带42，内圆带41和外圆带42分别通过相对的上壁43和下壁相互连接，上壁43和下壁44也是圆带形式。
在图11所示的实施例中，药片15的槽或室14是设置在上、下壁43、44之间的外圆带42中的。在图12所示的实施例中，药片15的槽或室14是设置在内、外圆带41、42之间的上壁43中的。
在图11和12所示的这两个实施例中，围绕着每个槽14的周边设置凸台37，并在槽14上热密封上包含标记19和凸片18在内的保护条16。
可以由多种合适的材料来制造本发明的单剂量药物包装和药盒，但优选的材料是可模注的塑料。低密度或高密度的聚乙烯都可以和聚丙烯一样地被采用。但从成本考虑，宁愿使用低密度的聚乙烯。

Claims (6)

1.一种防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，其特征在于包括
(a)一注射模制的盒体(10)，该盒体具有相对的顶壁和底壁(17，18)，相对的侧壁(12，13)和相对的端壁(35，36)，端壁可接纳顶盖(20)，模制的盒体(10)上带有一组槽(14)，通过打开顶壁(17)可接近所述槽，该顶壁带有一凸起的凸台(37)，凸台(37)环绕各槽(14)的周边；
(b)一保护条(16)、所述保护条密封并覆盖顶壁(17)的外侧并封闭所述槽(14)，保护条受热密封凸起的凸台(37)而为每个槽(14)形成一保护层，在槽(14)之间保护条被划上标记，以便在打开每个槽(14)时便于除去保护条(16)的单个部分；
(c)顶盖(20)沿模制盒体(10)的长度延伸，顶盖带有一锁定端(25)和一安装在盒体(10)的其中一个端壁(36)上的铰接端(21)，锁定端带有作为突出壁(25)延伸部分的一个锁舌(27，28)，能够与盒体(10)上的端壁(26)啮合，顶盖(20)可处于一打开位置和一关闭位置，其中当处于关闭位置时就隐藏了槽(14)和锁舌(27，28)，当处于打开位置时就可以接近覆盖盒体(10)的顶壁(17)的保护条(16)

3.如权利要求1或2所述的防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，其特征在于保护条(16)由铝箔叠层材料制成。
4.如权利要求1至3中的一个所述的防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，其特征在于与盒体(10)的侧壁(12，13)相邻的凸起的凸台(37)呈延长的弓形(38)
5.如权利要求4所述的防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，其特征在于延长的弓形(38)在点(39)处终止。
6.如权利要求4所述的防儿童误服的单剂量药物包装，其特征在于延长的弓形(38)在低些的钝端(40)处终止。
