背景技术

在本发明的又一个实施方案中,提供了启动减压治疗泵的方法。该方法包括手动压缩柔性膜(flexiblediaphragm),以减少被流体地连接到组织部位的腔的容积。该方法进一步包括听觉上、视觉上或触觉上指示柔性膜在未压缩位置与压缩位置之间的位置处的定位。基于所指示的位置来确定由被压缩的柔性膜所提供的估计的减压,并且将减压输送到组织部位。
本发明的启动减压治疗泵的方法还可包括:在柔性膜膨胀之后,手动再压缩柔性膜。
本发明的启动减压治疗泵的方法还可包括:将从组织部位抽出的流体收集在腔中。所述方法还可包括:在用从组织部位抽出的流体来部分填充腔之后,手动地再压缩柔性膜。
在本发明的又一个实施方案中,薄型(low-profile)减压治疗系统包括减压源和被配置来靠近组织部位放置的减压歧管。大体上扁平的减压输送管被流体地连接在减压源与减压歧管之间。该输送管包括大体上矩形的横截面和输送管内的防止输送管在减压输送期间塌陷的多个波纹(corrugation)。
在本发明的薄型减压治疗系统中,减压源可以是手动可压缩泵,手动可压缩泵包括:柔性的且可压缩的侧壁;第一端盖和第二端盖,第一端盖和第二端盖被连接在侧壁的相对端处,以形成由侧壁和端盖所界定的内腔,内腔具有从侧壁在未压缩位置时的最大值变化到侧壁在压缩位置时的最小值的容积;连接口,其被设置在第一端盖和第二端盖中的一个端盖中,以允许内腔与减压歧管之间流体连通;单向阀,其被设置在第一端盖、所二端盖和侧壁中的一个中,以允许流体从内腔排出;疏水滤器,其与单向阀连通,以防止液体经由单向阀离开内腔;和气味滤器,其与单向阀连通,以消除与经由单向阀所排出的任意气体关联的气味。

具体实施方式
在优选实施方案的下列详细描述中,参照了附图,这些附图构成本文的一部分,并且其中以说明形式显示了本发明可被实施的特定的优选实施方案。这些实施方案被描述得足够详细,以使本领域技术人员能够实施本发明,并且应理解到,可使用其它实施方案以及可进行逻辑的、结构的、机械的、电的和化学的改变,而不脱离本发明的精神或范围。为了避免对于本领域技术人员能够实施本发明不必要的细节,描述可能省略了本领域技术人员已知的某些信息。因此,下列详细描述不应当被认为是限定性的,并且本发明的范围仅由所附的权利要求所限定。
参照图1和图3,提供了根据本发明实施方案的减压输送系统11,用于对患者的组织部位13施予减压组织治疗。减压输送系统包括风箱式泵15,风箱式泵15被流体地连接到减压输送管19,减压输送管19又流体地连接到薄型伤口敷料25(图2中图示了省略减压输送管的一体化系统)。风箱式泵15将减压经由减压输送管19和敷料25输送到组织部位13。在组织部位处保持减压,这促进了组织部位处组织的微变形并且促进新组织的生长。
风箱式泵优选地是包括波纹侧壁或膜31的柱状的、手动操作的泵。波纹侧壁包括有助于风箱式泵沿着它的纵轴压缩的多个脊(ridge)35和沟(groove)37。风箱式泵进一步包括被一体化地连接在波纹侧壁的相对端处的第一端壁39和第二端壁41。可选择地,风箱式泵可包括被密封地连接在波纹侧壁的相对端处的第一端盖和第二端盖,或第一阀盖和第二阀盖43(见图3)。波纹侧壁与相对的第一端壁和第二端壁,一起形成了柔性囊(flexiblebladder),该柔性囊的边界界定了内腔51。内腔51的容积是可变的。在未压缩位置,风箱式泵的波纹壁是在它的自然伸展状态(即波纹仍是存在的),且内腔的容积是在最大值处。在压缩位置,风箱式泵受到压缩力,从而引起内腔的容积减小和波纹的线密度增大。当压缩波纹壁时,波纹施加了偏压力(biasingforce),以试图使波纹壁回到未压缩位置。可使用诸如弹簧的独立偏压构件(independentbiasingmember)或非波纹侧壁的弹性取代波纹,来朝向未压缩位置偏压侧壁。
连接口53优选地被设置在风箱式泵的端壁中的一个端壁上,以允许内腔与减压输送管流体连接。伞形阀(umbrellavalve)55和鸭嘴阀57被可操作地连接到连接口,以选择性地接纳或排出来自内腔的流体。鸭嘴阀提供了从减压输送管到内腔的单向流体连通。伞形阀提供了从内腔到围绕着风箱式泵的环境大气的单向流体连通。类似的伞形阀被设置在与包含连接口的端壁相对的端壁内。
更明确地参照图3,邻近伞形阀安置疏水滤器61和气味滤器63(例如木炭滤器)。疏水滤器防止内腔内的任何液体经由伞形阀排出。气味滤器消除从内腔经由伞形阀排出的任何气体相关的气味。
与风箱式泵关联的多个阀选择性地允许与内腔进行流体交换。当初始起动(prime)风箱式泵到压缩位置(通过在端壁上施加手动压缩力而引起)时,内腔内的气态流体被经由伞形阀中的一个伞形阀或全部两个伞形阀排出。气态流体在离开内腔之前通过气味滤器。风箱式泵处于压缩位置时,已弹性变形的波纹壁试图恢复到它的未压缩状态。随着波纹壁朝向它的未压缩状态移回,内腔的容积增大,这导致内腔内的压力减小(内腔作为封闭系统P1×V1=P2×V2)。内腔与环境大气(即在组织部位处的压力)之间的差压,导致气态流体和液体流体从减压输送管和伤口敷料被抽进内腔。然后这导致在组织部位处的减压。当伤口敷料适当密封时,可在组织部位处保持此减压。从组织部位抽出的流体,经由鸭嘴阀进入内腔。鸭嘴阀防止这些流体离开内腔。
风箱式设备的目的之一是输送与保持在组织部位处的减压,直到内腔变成完全填充有液体伤口渗出物。在一些情形中,在内腔没有被完全填充有伤口渗出物和其它液体的情况下,风箱式泵可达到未压缩位置(初始起动之后)。在这种情形中,可通过在风箱式泵的端壁上再次施加压缩力,再起动(re-prime)风箱式泵。随着内腔的容积再次减小,内腔内的气态流体被经由伞形阀排出。疏水滤器防止内腔内的液体被排出。因为风箱式泵包括不止一个伞形阀,所以可再起动泵而无论泵的定向如何。
风箱式泵可包括吸收性泡沫,吸收性泡沫被设置在内腔内,以俘获伤口渗出物和从组织部位除去的其它流体。此外,单向膜可设置在风箱式泵内,以防止任何流体从内腔回流出。
参照图4和图5,在本发明的一个实施方案中,风箱式泵可包括含有波纹壁的刚性壳体71。端盖73可被壳体滑动地支承并安置在波纹壁上方,以便通过在端盖上施压来压缩波纹壁。具有爪(detent)75和突出部(tab)77的位置指示构件可操作地与壳体和端盖关联,以当波纹壁达到压缩位置时提供听觉上的和触觉上的“click(喀哒声)”。可选择地,并参照图6-8,多个齿或爪,及卡爪可操作地与壳体和端盖关联,以当起动风箱式泵时产生棘轮声音。每个单独的“click(喀哒声)”可代表风箱式泵在那个时间瞬间能够提供的所限定的差压。听觉指示器也可伴有视觉指示器79,以向用户告知将提供多大差压。
参照图8,进行试验以测量具有由不同硬度值的材料所制成的波纹壁的风箱式泵相关的压力衰减。虽然结果表明具有肖氏(Shore)65A的材料经历较小衰减,但这是部分由于在伤口敷料处改进的密封。发现肖氏65A材料能够提供介于125毫米汞柱与150毫米汞柱之间的差压。这些水平的压力能够被保持至少六小时。对于更高压力,可使用更硬的材料(诸如肖氏85A材料)。使用这种类型的泵构造来产生250毫米汞柱的压力,甚至,高于400毫米汞柱的压力也是可能的。
应注意到,虽然描述了风箱式泵,但是包括但不局限于隔膜泵或活塞泵的任何手动操作的泵,可以替代风箱式泵。在一些情形中,可能需要使用电力来起动(或设置)泵,但是在大多数情形中,该泵将能够由用户手动操作,而无需电力。
再次参照图1,薄型伤口敷料包括管连接器81、水凝胶环83和薄膜(film)85。管连接器被安置在减压歧管上方,以便管连接器的开口与歧管流体连通。水凝胶环被设置在管连接器与患者靠近组织部位的组织表面89之间。优选地是由聚氨基甲酸酯制成的薄膜被粘着地施用到管连接器和患者的组织表面,以将敷料固定到患者上,并提供敷料与患者之间的密封。敷料的密封特性通过水凝胶环被进一步增强,水凝胶环不仅密封了患者的组织表面,而且还防止组织表面在使用敷料期间被损伤。
歧管优选地是高度网状的开孔泡沫。歧管允许分布由风箱式泵所提供的减压。应注意到,能够分布减压的任何材料可用来取代开孔泡沫。
参照图9,一体化的伤口敷料111也可与减压输送系统一起使用。一体化的伤口敷料包括被设置在薄膜115上的大块岛状的水凝胶113。薄膜优选地包括作为水凝胶备用密封的粘合剂117。开口121被设置在薄膜中,且开口123被设置在水凝胶中,以允许适合的管连接器125的贯穿连接。
参照图10-12,在伤口敷料的另一个实施方案中,超薄型(ultra-low-profile)减压输送管135被直接地连接到敷料。该管在横截面上是相当扁平的和矩形的,这明显减少了整个敷料连接到管时的厚度。优选地,波纹137被设置在管内(见图12),以防止管在压力作用下塌陷。管和波纹可以在单个的制造过程中被一起压制出,或者可以在分离的制造过程之后被组装。多个流动通道139被界定在波纹之间。优选地通过将水凝胶倾倒在薄膜和管上且促使该水凝胶胶化,来将管连接到薄膜。
由前述内容应明显的是,已经提供了具有重要优点的发明。虽然仅仅以一些形式显示了本发明,但本发明不仅仅限于此,而是可允许各种变化和改进,而不脱离本发明的精神。
Claims (6)
1.一种薄型减压治疗系统,包括:
减压源;
减压歧管,其被配置成靠近组织部位放置;和
扁平的减压输送管,其被流体地连接在所述减压源和所述减压歧管之间,所述减压输送管具有矩形的横截面和所述减压输送管内的防止所述减压输送管在减压输送期间塌陷的多个波纹。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述减压源是手动可压缩泵,所述手动可压缩泵包括:
柔性的且可压缩的侧壁;
第一端盖和第二端盖,所述第一端盖和所述第二端盖被连接在所述侧壁的相对的端处,以形成由所述侧壁和所述端盖所界定的内腔,所述内腔具有从所述侧壁在未压缩位置时的最大值变化到所述侧壁在压缩位置时的最小值的容积;
连接口,其被设置在所述第一端盖和第二端盖中的一个端盖中,以允许所述内腔与所述减压歧管之间流体连通;
单向阀,其被设置在所述第一端盖、所述第二端盖和所述侧壁中的一个中,以允许流体从所述内腔排出;
疏水滤器,其与所述单向阀连通,以防止液体经由所述单向阀离开所述内腔;和
气味滤器,其与所述单向阀连通,以消除与经由所述单向阀所排出的任意气体关联的气味。
3.根据权利要求1所述的系统,还包括:
薄型敷料,其放置在组织部位上,所述敷料包括:
薄膜,其用于密封靠近组织部位的所述歧管,所述薄膜具有薄膜开口,以允许与组织部位流体连通;和
管连接器,其放置在所述薄膜开口上,所述管连接器具有用于接纳扁平的减压输送管的开口。
4.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述歧管是网状的开孔泡沫。
5.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述多个波纹形成多个通道。
6.一种手动启动的减压治疗系统,包括:
歧管,其被配置成靠近组织部位放置;和
手动压缩的风箱式泵,其与所述歧管流体连通,以将减压输送到组织部位,所述手动压缩的风箱式泵包括:
波纹状的侧壁;
第一端盖和第二端盖,所述第一端盖和所述第二端盖被连接在所述侧壁的相对的端处,以形成由所述侧壁与所述第一端盖和所述第二端盖所界定的内腔,所述内腔具有从所述侧壁在未压缩位置时的最大值变化到所述侧壁在压缩位置时的最小值的容积;
连接口,其被设置在所述第一端盖和第二端盖中的一个端盖中,以允许所述内腔与所述歧管之间流体连通;和
单向阀,其被设置在所述第一端盖、所述第二端盖和所述侧壁中的一个中,以允许流体从所述内腔排出;
扁平的减压输送管,其被流体地连接在所述手动压缩的风箱式泵和所述歧管之间,所述扁平的减压输送管具有矩形的横截面和所述扁平的减压输送管内的防止所述扁平的减压输送管在减压输送期间塌陷的多个波纹;以及
薄型敷料,其包括用于将所述扁平的减压输送管连接到所述薄膜的水凝胶。
